The battles on here need a new way of judging other than just a picture.

I definitely agree and I do understand that it's difficult establish today with the photo shop tech and such a pic especially 1 pic makes it difficult to judge I'm in the mephisto battle and the dinafem battle and my Dinamex was a beast and almost no votes and my squach 24 cross is in first in mephisto battle and I don't think it looks as good. I'm not sure wat would work best but I hear wat ur saying for sure. Ps u got me really wanting to try out some auto seeds gear great job again man she is beautiful

Thanks. Autoseeds has been in the auto game for a long time. Their genetics are the most stable. Very little phenotype varience witch gives you the ability to collect data and establish a great baseline and feeding scedual for each strain. I've grown alot of GSC from autoseeds so I know what they like And what to exspect. Unlike the bluetoof strain witch is all over the place with diffrent phenotypes. I've never had the same type pheno with it they are always very diffrent witch makes it very hard to grow well. The most stable mephisto strains for me are white crack and Double grape.

Exactly man bud structure and density is 90% of what I judge on. Speaking of bluetoof I just grew 2 of them 1 was super weird structure hard to explain and the other super dence and ideal structure. So diffrent from one another it's crazy.View attachment 1083456

Yes this is what I'm discovering that three beans in the same packet can be completely different. My DIY orange buds and my just finished Orange Buds don't even look like the same type of plant.

Well better quality photos would be a start. It's crazy that all this work is done on this site by so many people then right at the final hurdle it all collapse due to the worst posting quality I've ever seen. Everything is resampled and blurred.

Hey everyone the autoseeds battle is being polled and voted. Of course they made my pic the smallest and so blurry you can hardly see it. I'm doing ok in the voting despite it but would appreciate any votes I can get. I put alot into that plant and you can hardly see it bc of the garbage picture I have. Thanks guys. I really like this little group of guys we got. We all need to stick together if we plan on competeing with management and all the sponcered guys. If anyone else needs some help with votes don't be afraid to ask. I got you.

They should have a std format and size for pics. PNG is good cause it doesn't keep getting compressed every time it gets manipulated. If any of ya got pics you want "fixed", send em over and I'll give it a shot. If you do, please send the image right off the camera/card.

IMHO The trouble with that Is: in my case, a tif is 235 mb, png is 110mb. That's liable to slow the site down a lot. If you go jpeg, even if you say send it full size, some phones, cameras and software will compress them differently.

I got u that's how I feel with my dinafem dinamex and the mephisto battle some are being voted on by who grew it and not by plant it's just like when someone grows out a landrace the strain it's self should be judged by other plants of same genetics it's very difficult to judge Apple's to Oranges to lemons all different growing and another issue is a lot of the genetics are all over the place so when we all pop blue toof not one of the original has been similar all similar size wise and all were quality but that's were the similarities end this right here makes it impossible to compete on a level playing field but I'm just happy a place like this is possible and around same with the people so thanks guys and I hope we can do another battle before the end of the year seeing it will be all 3rd leg finals I'm down

Yea they need to figure somthing out with the pics. It's like judging a bikini contest from the back row. And 1 pi tire is impossible to really judge a plant. It should at least be 2 pics one of the whole plant and the other of a up close pic of the buds. Also a specified object in the picture for scale would work too. Here's my @Autoseeds.com purple stilton. Super frosty and sticky. Went through a half bottle of sanitizer just trying to keep the sizzors from glueing shut. This stuffs going in the personal stash.
