I'm making some of my own crosses using coloidial silver to make feminized seeds I crossed a bubblegum with a pineapple Express it would b cool if their was a battle for home grown genetics is their such a battle ?
You can run them in breeder battles like I have a cross I made in the mephisto 2nd leg comp it's a hubbasquach x 24carat using sets to make fem pollen also running this auto ultimate cross here but I would be cool to have a dedicated battle for home crossed strains. Would love to see any of urs link me to ur journal or when u do them good job and sending positive vibes ur way my friend

I like the big chunky perilite. For years I used tons of perilite and got shit from alot of people saying it was a crutch and only inexperienced people used large amounts of perilite and blah blah blah. Bottom line perilite and marijuana go hand and hand. I like to get runoff easily to reset the medium every watering and so I can feed more often. Also the roots love the stuff. And perilite holds alot more water than people know. I've gone with 30% coco and 70% perilite and had awesome plants. That with a drip ring watering 3 times a day grows a plant very very fast. Where did you get that big chunky stuff? I've got it off Amazon but it's exspensive.
Also viagro @ home depot is not bad for perlite the bottom is small but about 50% is a good size and 2.5 cubic feet I think it's like 17 with tax also here is this weeks update on the auto ultimate cross looking good got a few rust spots so upped cal mag a bit to help out and hopefully stop any progression.

Here is the link I did the breeding in n I'll probably run the cross in this journal as well I'm hoping in about a month I'll have PEG (PINEAPPLE EXPRESS GUM ) up n running

Is that the coco u were talking about @Tyler_Durden88 in above pic
Yepper....Thats it. I love the design of their bricks and how you can do smaller runs and the bags are a nice touch. It's half the price of the loose bags of canna coco and it's the same shit. Best results I get is with canna. The rest give me calmag and potassium issues down the road.

Yea it looks like calmag with the veins in the leafs looking yellow. That's usually a early sighn. And the transition from veg to flower is always where I'm more likely to need to add calmag and B-52 vitamins for the stretch. And I don't switch to bloom nutes until over a week into flower. That's a Nice full plant. She's gonna be a producer for sure. Training always pays off in spades done correctly.

Ya well that's wats odd I've been backing off the nutes and upping calmag but hasn't changed also the nutes I'm running say to use even amounts which is wat I was doing. This plant was hand trained no rope, tying , or nething like that it was topped and the fastest 4 branches were gently stuffed under leaves to hold them in place but that's it easiest plant to maintain canopy since it's mother

How long since the def showing and since u changed. When it shows with mag especially it seems to have taken hold already and hard to get back. I learned this last run with a couple plants gotta increase calmag just as flowering is hitting especially under high powered leds it seems. I know some say no but I’ve been running leds for a few years now and without the upped calmag during flower they get ugly calmag def. some say it’s mostly mag but I know it’s also cal because my supplements have a bunch of mag in it. But I’m just a small homegrower for myself who pays attention to small details. Once u see signs of flower start to increase calmag somematrains won’t show it as bad but yields will suffer even if only slightly. Buds won’t swell as much not sure if it’s because the calmag def causes lack of p uptake or k uptake or something else again I’m not a proffesional horticulturalist just watch and listen to my ladies and read a ton here.

Thats true it's hard to bring them back depending on how far along they are. Also coco holds pottassium as well and then releases it further down the road causing many deformities. The runoff will tell you what's going on as well. I'd see how much ppm she's eating.
