Seed Stockers RUCU CUCU GROW COMMUNAL THREAD

Day 64: - Start of week 10. Seedstockers website states this strain finishes between 10-11 weeks. I think this one is going to be right on target. Put on a lot of size since last week and just starting to show some fading here and there. Using up the last of the current nutrient batch and then about a week on the "finish" formula.


Just for comparison look at these two pictures - top one week 9 , below week 10

Week 9: Last weeks update. Everything still upright and fitting in the shot.

Week 10: Holy cannoli. The branches are bending and flexing under their own weight.

The buds look like they doubled in size. These girls put on some bulk at the end.

Hola AFN...I got really high today(Rucu Cucu ofc!)and got my phone microscope out, when I noticed a lovely single bud where a node joined the main stem....I have to say SeedStockers....this Rucu Cucu is the f**king shiznit dudes...I love it ....

Rucu Auto Day 78

Still just waiting on trichoms. I'm sure she's innthe harvest window now but I always pick to early so I'm trying to let this girl do her thing. No visible signs of growth but it's hard to tell at this point. Definitly showing some more fade on the upper fan leave so there's progress.

@DDubs - You've got some lovely colours going on there! I'll have to be doing a trichome check myself later this evening.

Rearranging the photo booth area. Hope for some nice ones.

Looks amazing brother!! Looking at the trichomes I would say...she's for sure in the window and I would harvest, but then again I am known for doing that to soon

Day 71: Week 11 - Well the Seedstockers site states it should be done between weeks 10-11 and I think mine is finished. Right on schedule. I am getting a bit of foxtailing on the larger buds/colas and a quick check with the 'scope shows almost all cloudy and just a tinge of amber here and there. Not sure if I want to cut tomorrow or Friday. Probably Friday which would be day 74.

@Seedstockers-Mark - Some final shots before the chop. I'll update again in a couple days when I take it down.

Ok, on to the pics:

Had to run some support cables. Massively heavy branches.

Is this foxtailing? I think it looks neat and dense as heck.

EDIT: I forgot the close up microscope shots!

Looks like almost all cloudy and a hint of amber.

Rucu Cucu - Day 83
Timber! Chop day for this beautiful plant. Pretty easy trim by plucking off the big fan leaves, snipping a few sugar leaves and dropping these super tight buds into brown bags to cure. It's getting hot and humid around here and my cure tent is at 73F/70%rh. Far from ideal but it's what I have to work with so I spread them out a little thinner in the bags.

I'll post up final weigh ins and bud photos in a couple weeks.
