Can I get an update from everyone this weekend or just let me know if you updated within the last couple days. This gets us all in sync
My week 2 update is on page 28 brother

Hi @Dudeski and fellow RQS growers. Here's my update on the Bubble Kush ladies at twenty days above ground. Mephisto (GBD) SuperSoil on left and Biotabs on right.

GBD SuperSoil is nice and bushy, 11.5" tall; today she got 1/2 ltr of MegaCrop with CalMg. Biotabs is quite stretchy, 17.5" tall; today she got 1/2 ltr of Orgatrex with CalMg.

@Only1Sky what system you using? i thinking about to change from soil... and want some system some kind of automatic
What you are seeing in this thread is 15 ltr AutoPots. One is loaded with coco/perlite (70/30) and the basic line-up of Biotabs (including their Silicium Flash). The other pot is loaded with Roots Organic Original Soil and Mephisto (GBD) SuperSoil mix and some worm casings. Both pots also had some dolomite and azomite added to the basic mix.

When I started growing (just under 12 months ago) my goals were, in order of priority:
  1. achieve medical grade quality that exceeds what my wife had been getting at dispensaries
  2. minimize labor hours and complexity of the process
  3. minimize costs

I'm happy to report that I achieved the first goal on my first grow (thanks to AFN), and its only gotten better since. The other two goals remain a work-in-progress. I run two 4'x4' tents with fiber pots in one and AutoPots in the other. With a focus on my remaining two goals, I continue to experiment with the contents of these pots and their feed/programs. I'm finding pros & cons with everything and am not yet really to stop experimenting and swear allegence to any one system or method .... yet. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

@Only1Sky your grow is clean and i like it! thanks for your answer :toke: i will contact you when i decided to switch to autopot system ... right now im working on my experiment with coco :pop: but everyday hand wattering is
time-consuming work...

Yes, everyday hand-jobs can get tiring. :nono: One thing to know about AutoPots, you have to water from the top (typically by hand) until the roots can reach down to drink from the tray. This generally takes about 3 weeks. Only way around this is to use an automatic drip or osmosis system like Blumat spikes. I haven't done them yet, but probably will later this year. Lots of folks seem to like them. The major consideration about automatic watering from tubes (like AutoPots or Blumats) is that you got to be careful about what mix of feed/nutrients you put in the reservoirs -- otherwise your tubes can get gummed up. MegaCrop may be just the right answer. Time will tell as it gets tested by several growers right now.
