Problem: Royal critical has brown spots appearing on random leaves. Blue cheese is quite yellow mainly on new growth, buds yellowing too - although it does not look to bad in the pics.

Medium/grow method: Soil is a mix of half and half peat & compost. Added 20L perlite & 10L vermiculite.

Feed: and supplements used: Amendments from Living Soils. This during Veg, as well as wormcasts and Barley by adding to soil about 1 month prior to plants going in. This during Bloom added via top dressing. Also adding the Barley and wormcasts as top dressing with weekly feed.

water source: Tap PHed 6.4

Strain/age: Royal Critical and Blue Cheese from RQS. 36 days

light used: Daylight Pro 300w LED. Approx 60 cm from canopy

Climate: Steady 24c/75f 50% RH

Additional info: Added 1/2 tbsp of Epsom salts to each plant by top dressing and 1/2L water.

Any suggestions are welcome. It has been a long time since I have grown any plants like these and up to now things have gone pretty smoothly. If things have not looked right through this grow I have managed to rectify any issues by changing the enviroment but I do not think this is not down to environment.

Thanks for taking a look. :thanks:

I am starting to think these issues may have come about due to the plants becoming root bound… I am using 2 gallon ‘pots’ which are definitely too small, and roots are appearing out of the bottom drainage holes. Is it too late to re-pot? Would this put too much stress on auto’s that are 37 days old and flowering?

likely deficient
no where near enough soil with the added aeration especially.. looks like youre using grow bags? you could maybe cut out the bottoms and stack them onto another container of soil?

Thanks for the reply Tom! Funnily enough I had the exact same thought pop into my head as I travelled into work this morning. I have done exactly what you said and I hope to see some improvement over the next couple days. **Bigger pots required**

Thanks again!

Now I have moved them to bigger pots with more regular feeding I have noticed big improvements to these ladies. So instead of feeding once a week I give half feed mid week and half feed at the end of the week. More work but seems to have helped. Couple of low doses of Epsom salts also seemed to be beneficial. Still some sh!tty looking leaves but I think that is from the initial issues. Thanks
