Extraction Rosin Tech Pure Solvent Free Wax

I was wondering can this be done with trim also or if the return from it would be too small to be worth while. I have about a 14gs of trim and no hair stratener but I wanna try this with it:weed:
Trim works great.
Same quality as flower pressed rosin.
I compress my trim into little pea sized nuggets to press.:pass:
Your return will vary from strain to strain.

I'm picking up a 2" digital Remington straightener after have a couple of successful runs with a smaller cheaper one. Does everyone agree that 360F is the optimal temperature? Also I'm having a pretty hard time getting the oil off of the parchment paper without white stuff coming with it, is there a special technique? I've tried my dabber tool and a razor blade. A lot of it also just seems to smear and not want to come off of the paper.

From all the research I've been doing, lower temps and higher pressure are yielding best results.
I've seen some seriously clear rosin that was pressed at 240˚
I don't know what temps I'm pressing at, but results vary with different strains.
I'm pressing flower/trim at #10 on my iron with a dial that goes from 1-25. No temp setting.

As far as collection goes...
I use a dull tool. Something rounded works well.
The rosin should come off easily.
Once it starts collecting on the tool it usually begins to collect on itself and the tool never touches the paper.
You can place the paper in the freezer to help solidify the rosin that runs like liquid.
A few seconds will help it harden up enough to work with.

Hope this may help:bong:

Thanks for the tips! I guess I'll press at different temps and see what works best for my iron/bud. Is there a "right" side of parchment paper to use (i.e. one side is more slick than the other)? After I pick up the iron I'll post some pics and let you guys know how it went. I have some primo Hubbabubbasmelloscope that I want to run as smoking bud has been getting to my lungs lately.

Any hints tips or tricks, possible pictorial on kief to rosin?
We kind of have a heap to play with :)

Mitch when using keif its nice to have a 25 Micron Drying Screen for Bubbly hash. I take my keif ball it up or hand pressing it works. I then take my ball and press it in the screen between parchment i think i have a vide on it let me check
