New Grower roots organics 707 soil questions

hey all my second grow is winding down and have some questions on the roots organic soil.
do I need to add more perlite to it or is it good to go out the bag. will be using it in 5gal smart pots on next grow. any help or advice u can give is appreciated. also read some people use play sand instead of perlite. thx

From what I understand roots organic soil pretty much has everything you need in it, including organic type nutrients you would need for the first few weeks of veg, I use roots organic soil and don't add extra perlite, it pretty much has alot already in it.

I use regular Roots Organic soil and it has a lot of perlite in it and I don't feed until week 2 or 3 of flower.

thanks guys ben using ffof soil for last two grows and they had roots on sale so I thought I would give it a try

I know this is an old thread but I just got a free bag of roots organics 707 and I have no clue how to use it on my autos. Lol @flynfish how'd it go? Do you still use it?

I had some pH problems with it, was the last soil I used before switching to coco

Well shoot lol this isn't a good start lmao. It was a big free bag so I'm just looking to save some money and try it lol. How's coco going man? How long have you been doing coco?

On my second grow with it. My results were great. So much easier had virtually no pH problems
