Wow Swampman, I'm so glad the root rub is working well for you!
And Musturd, you have taken the root ball and ran with it.:five:
I have found that when the weather the colder, I use more olive oil...sometimes 50/50 with the coconut oil because it is smoother and softer.
It will not whip as well but thats not really necessary.
Also the amount of beeswax you put in makes it the thickness you want.
What I am doing now is infusing other herbs with the roots, stems, buds, you know...the whole plant. :xlaugh:
The roots make a nice lip balm. Just add more beeswax. Test a drop on the counter, let it cool for a few. It will thicken a little more as it cools.

Holy Frijole Swampman,
You guys are great (Musturd & Mississ), you have given Root66 her due. She is really living her whole life with this stuff now. We recently moved to a community that really supports the culture here. People rent out the community facilities and have classes about all this stuff (don't want to be publicly specific, as to not indicate location). No one is afraid up here, we really enjoy it and the people we are meeting. So much more accepting than when we lived in the city atmosphere.
So now we intend to spread the word around here, because no one knows specifically what we do yet, and we thiink we can offer people a more oranic way of healing.
I agree with Swampman about the duration of relief from these potions, a lot longer than the chemical creams.

I truly believe that a Karma Cloud brought us here...it felt like Home from the very first day.
We are introducing the many ways plants and herbs (including cannabis) can be used in soothing and healing.
Sometimes if I have some males (even mature males) I'll put all of them, roots to flowers, in whatever oil I have at the time and make some rub.
Right now I have 4 SNL's that didn't auto in a 50/50 olive/coconut oil. I added 4 of my dried cayenne peppers for the capsaicin.
I know the males work, just thinking the capsaicin will penetrate and partner with the cannabis properties.
Eek forgot to say how he makes a whole plant oil. He takes about a Tablespoon a day.

The oil she is referring to, used in conjuntion with the cannabis rubs, maybe provides me more relief than just the topicals themselves.

To Root66 and Eek I can not or will not live with out this rub now. I use it for everything and anything. I gave some out to friends and family and they all come back for more. I'm giving them out for Xmas gifts!!

Yes, sage is great. Easy to grow.
Crushed leaves work as a first aid for cuts.
It is a preservative, digestive aid, a gargle for sore throat and reduces perspiration.
I like to add a little in whatever tea I am making. Cinnamon, ginger, peppers, aniseed, etc. Adjust the amounts of each to taste.

That is so cool and a lot of people feel that way.
I have to give credit where credit is due. TLBWP is the first I know of to work with the roots. From there people like you and me have done the research and testing to get us to where we are today.
