Unless you are dipping them in honey you Called it! Root rot. Chance of survival depends on if you have Botanicare HydroGuard on hand.

Fresh reservoir with 400 PPM nutrients PH 5.8 and 2 ml/gallon of HydroGuard.
 
1st time it’s been this bad. Maybe 3rd time cutting the roots. No significant sign of death, definitely some stunted growth. They are not autos, they are clones from a photoperiod plant I’m flowering right now.
 
Tap water and that stuff.
