New Grower Roleadro COB--Rookie

@Frenjamin Banklin , I just lost my sh*t laughing when I read your reply!! Sounds like something I’d do, just not the first set of tops obviously hahaha! But yeah, I get really quality stuff now so I’m not feeling too rushed... it’s more the paranoia of screwing the first run up. I honestly thought it would go faster in the end but them girls will do things on their own schedule! Still loving it though
@Frenjamin Banklin and @SaltyReefer , thanks for makein it easier on me-----Patience------I don't know why, but its real hard to get that dialed in, it's real easy to chop early------- left them hangin--reminds me of an old joke------:pass::jointman:

Day-84 for Lollita--- waiting, that poor girl has been chopped on so much, she really looks funny! Day-53 for Ruby--- she wants her sister out of there! I noticed this morning that my extraction fan was not pulling my tent walls in causing negative pressure--? I have been noticing that more and more lately. I think 1/2 of that scrubber is clogging up with that real fine NEW charcoal that I refilled it with, I drilled out the rivets, opened it up--- 3 orders from Amazon latter, the first order was real fine charcoal, thought that would fill it:cuss::cuss::cuss: not nearly enough, 2nd order was pellets, just not enough to fill completely, just tryin to save $$$ 60 $+ later------Don't try this at home!-----??? My fan is really working hard to suck air out of that scrubber, it didn't even make it threw 1 grow! So I opened the tent door with a fan blowing in the tent I guess i'll have to spend more money on 1 of those scrubbers. But I think I understand that its ok to have the doors open on your tent as long as your not worried about the smell and you can control the temp's. I will shut them before the lights go out, I love that smell------Must have been some good meds @Frenjamin Banklin !!!!!----:jointman:

Just out of curiosity, do you have an intake fan going by chance? Seems I’ve read that positive pressure was a good thing? If nothing else has changed, I’d have to say you’re probably right on the carbon part. Keeping her opened up shouldn’t be an issue if you can maintain the environment, as long as you don’t mind the smells drifting

Thing with positive pressure is that the smell does drift.

Gotta make sure everything goes through the filter, maaaan. [emoji1365]

I get a year out of a 6” Vivosun filter, bout $60. I only run my extraction fan enough to remove the smells. It also coincidentally does keep the environment stable by removing the hot air. But imho if running COBs or QBs you shouldn’t need to be running massive amounts of air.in or out of your tent.
During the summer I vent out my chimney, I think I might even run an old filter for that next year. Even after a year the vivosun filter still mostly works it’s just a faint smell, not good for the house but ok out the chimney because dilution makes it impossible to detect. But closed in the house all day it adds up.
Watch out for RH, charcoal doesn’t like the higher humidity. Can clog up faster.
