I'm planning my summer outdoor, it's got limited space so I try and pick the strains best suited for it. I'm growing all autos in my outdoor grow.

Anyone have any experience growing RocBud strains outdoors? I went to the outdoor section and did a search for RocBud and came up with nothing.

OK, different question: With your indoor grows, how big do RocBud plants get compared with other breeders you've grown? Specifically, I have Purple Scoop and Magic Cookies.

The reason I ask is that my outdoor is the meat of our annual harvest, so I try to pick strains that can get really big. I plant them all in the ground for unlimited root potential. So far I have DP Daiquiri Lime and Gluberry OG going in, as examples. Last year my biggest were Mephisto Walter White and Double Grape. Any thoughts on how the RB strains would compare in size?

Lots of pics in the RocBud thread:

If you are trying to maximize your yields, and you are wanting to run autoflowers, why not do an XXL strain such as Big Yield Auto or Ultimate Auto?
Thanks for that. I went through a couple of dozen pages (of the 681) and saw a lot of pics of young plants and finished buds, but in my quick scan I don't see a lot of reports about final weights.

Glueberrry OG and Daiquiri Lime are both listed as XXL, that's why I chose them. I've read great things about RocBud strains in terms of flavor, potency, etc., but I don't recall hearing anything about harvest production size. There seems to be a decent correlation between how big plants get indoors vs. outdoors, so if they hold their own comparatively in people's indoor grows, then they should also be of a similar relative size outside.

The spots in my outdoor are few and important, so unless I have evidence otherwise, I would hold off on RocBud until next winter's indoor. I am more likely to avoid taking the chance of having a runt in my production run.
 :pass:
