Indoor Robwars Cannonball Run Grow (3 strains + LED)

Well here we go friends on my Cannonball Run Grow.
Long story short... I'll be driving cross country for a 2 month work trip during this grow. I will/have spent the first two weeks or so at home with the grow and the rest I'll be 2000 miles away! My trusty grow assistant/lady friend will be sending me pic updates about every three days or so as needed and I will be instructing her on feeding and anything else involved with the grow. If all goes well by the time I'm back we should have a harvest 2-4 weeks (or sooner) after I'm back from my trip.
Ok on with the info---

Strains-
Nirvana Bubbleicious x 2 (we'll see if it autos on it's own...)
Advanced Seeds BioDiesel Mass x 2
and World of Seeds Northern Lights x Big Bud x 1 (attitude freebie)

Soil-
4 parts Happy Frog to 2 parts Promix HP

Pots-
1.5 gallon Airpots

Nutes-

I wanted to go fully organic but I figured we'd use all these nutes up first. Next grow...

Lights/Tent-
2- 240 watt Blackstar (Flowering) LED's
1- 3'x1.7'x5' Lighthouse Hydro Tent
Also my fan and filter setup.
I tried something a bit different this time, I mounted my exhaust fan and filter on the outside of the tent. So far I love it, way more room in the tent.


Pretty excited about this grow even though I'll be away for the majority of it. I'll pass the pics along and keep this journal up to date from the road. Just want to say thank you to my lovely girlfriend "Penny"who will be attending to the grow while I'm gone.

Germination-
I soaked all of my seeds in RO water for 24 hours. Then I planted them in the 1.5 gallon Airpots and put a shower cap over them.
Less then 48 hours later they popped, added a day and then I was at day 1.
Note- I originally tried to germ 2 Lowlife ak47xhindu kush but they didn't pop... Dug them up after about 5 days and notta... Still closed. Fuck it, enter BioDiesel Mass
Repeat germ process and the BioDiesel popped in less then 48 hours.
Has anybody grown the Lowlife ak47xhindu kush? Pretty disappointed that they didn't pop.

Another thing is that I was/am always afraid of over watering in the beginning due to these small little seedlings in big pots so I decided to use this old Sriracha bottle and I love it. The top lets me control the water flow around the seedlings.


Forgot to mention my light cycle... 20/4

Snapped some pics this morning of a couple of the girls. I'm amazed at the growth, so far I'm really digging this soil mix.

The BioDiesel are a few days behind but I'll snap some pics on day 8 just to compare.
So far I've just watered with RO water at a ph of 6. I'll slowly start taking the ph UP over time, once they get bigger and can handle enough water for me to get some run off to test the ph of the soil.
I plan on giving the older girls (nlxbb and the bubbleicious) a taste of CaMag, BioRoot, and BB for their next watering probably tomorrow, somewhere around 250 ppm. We'll see how they handle it.

Slick setup dude. Love the two Blackstars. Looks a lot like what I want my setup to be like eventually. Those five are gonna be beasts with the two LEDs. Badass.

Question: You said your ph is at 6 and you will gradually lower it. What;s the idea behind that? Promix needs ph around 6.3 and soil is a little bit higher, so I would think with that mix you have, you'll need your ph around 6.4 IMO.

I thought pro mix was classed as soilless and ph of 5.8-6.0 is the range to be in mate?

I run my promix in the 6.0 to 6.3 range. Robwars brohan lookin' good so far really green and healthy I'm diggin' it keep it up. Sub'd

It's considered semi-soilless and optimum ph is in between hydro and soil. So right around 6.3. This info I got from Muddy I believe. And he got it from premier horticulture, who makes Promix.

I see semi soilless..we don't have any products like promix over here but I'd sure like to give it a go mate,I see many growers getting great results with it :smokebuds:

Let me clarify-
My soil ph is around 7ish
My water is being adjusted to a ph of 6 for the time being until my soil ph has stabilized to the 6.3-6.5 range
Then I will raise my water ph to about 6.3 for the rest of the grow as long as the soil ph remains stable.

Squid- I meant to say I will gradually raise it not lower it. Thanks for pointing that out.
