DAY 46

:pimphand:-- that's a wrong answer on a few levels,.. he's shit-canned anyway now, sooooo......
.... get some Ca-Mg going BFS,...

I'm shit-canned? OK. Still seem to be missing something after adding 3ml/gal of Cal-Mag Plus - Botanicare on 6/14/17. Now I fear I have some nutrient burn going with the TDS going up, as it will when nutrients are added. Ends of leaves the tips brown "just the tip" TSD's were steady around between 800-1000, but are now 1050 or so. Also I be

Lights:I moved my 600 W HPS over these girls on 6/18/17 then on the 18th (about 18 inches above the canopy)
changed back to a 18/6 schedule (tiered of those Jamaican Berry dictating this grow)
Just today I moved the 400 W LED over them as well. Only ran the last 3 hours of the latest light cycle. I wonder how slow I can up the time on that to harden them, or should I just figure 200 real watts can require too much prep after 3 days under the 600W HPS

Pics today

Hessenberg Special Mephisto - Day 16

Hope it is OK to post these here, as they are in the same Multiflow set up. Doing a little stagger growing. Freebees with the purchase of the Ripley's OG.

Thanks Mephisto!

Shit-Canned
Just read this in The Cannabis Encyclopedia, by Jorge Cervantes
Once a plant shows symptoms, it has already undergone severe nutritional stress for one or two weeks. It will take time for the plant to stabilize and demonstrate vigorous growth. - Page 379

Given that this is an autoflower, if you need time, you are shit-canned.

:\ Shit!

...:smoking: no mate, not you of course,.... appears the ban was temporary-

... got it, wrong line of Flora',... do you add the Ca-Mg first? I think that's recommended,... if you're getting tip burn back off the ppm's some, across the inputs board,... maybe a change up in nutes is called for,.. I see yellowing on the margin "teeth", a symptom of K defc.,.. looking at the Bloom, 4-8-7, it might not be enough,.. Koolbloom 0-10-10 might be a better ratio to supplement with, while keeping an eye on overall ppm's,... One problem, K toxicity looks similar! I know, WTF?! I don't see other signs of trouble like that though, but the light makes it difficult to spot,.. if you can, get pics in normal light please,... has you pH been stable? brief hiccups can cause pretty much instant symptoms sometimes,...

some pictures with with the Fluorescent trouble light...

don't know why I was messing with that white balancing. so much easier and better this way.

Did not add the Ca-Mg first.... :\ Looking at the journal that was the 6/15 and no, added to the reservoir. And KoolBloom 0-10-10 added the day before (1 mg/gal)... so toxicity!!! ??

pH - Stable except for a blip a 6/9/17. Looks like after I did the drop pH test, I recalibrated and found that I was closer to 6.4 than the 5.8 I had been trying to stay close to. So maybe creeping up before that... once again pH is listed once if just checked and twice if adjusted or changed due to nutes/water.

Seemed to be running a little high 6.7-6.9 when I ran drop pH... calibrated my pens and it seemed they had both drifted up

More of the Journal...

nonetheless, it seems like mistake in auto's are difficult to recover from.

My first harvest... about 53 g of sour crack, was relatively easy (5 seeds planted one harvested, (one jamaican berry super auto still in the tent, with very little light in the last day or so... soon to be dry ice hash....). A second Sour Crack dropped about 3 weeks after the first started to show issues in the leaf as flowering began.

Do folks feel like they can dial in a solid nutrient approach by sticking with a single strain for a while?

Some new photos and some more more issues in the first couple. I can't believe these girls are at day 49.

....mild K-tox I think, sure as hell isn't a defc.! And K is pretty availability-robust across a wide pH range, you were never in the bad zone for K pH,... As I mentioned, I'm not a hydro guy, and sadly, the one who used to help here most are gone now,... So, symptoms are K related for sure though, try reducing the overall ppm's below 1000,.... Have you hooked up with anybody in the Hydro section?
I don't know about the same strain deal while you dial in your nutes, I'd say no,.. there is so much variability between strains, pheno's, that it might be good to have a mix of strains, just make sure they are close in "projected" finish time,.. don't mix something speedy like SC with a longer haul Sativa dominant strain, as nutrient demands will become increasingly different as bloom begins!...

I am mostly just curious not sure how much help I'lll be but what are the temps in the tent? Also, are you still running an LED, if so still 400W and distance?
