Grow Room Update: The CO2 generator is installed and running. A 1600 watt Marst II was added to the lighting array and I'll most likely purchase another. I've got a nice curtain and screen baffle system between the potting area and the room. CO2 in the room is 1500 (day) and directly outside remains at 500. The room fills with oxygen after lights off and CO2 drops to 500 within a few minutes. Finally, all that worry about frigging heat from it is for naught! My lights generate far more heat. Once it fills the room, with my 6000 BTU A/C unit I can dial in the temp to 84 F average. Humidity is maintained at 35 to 45% in the flower area depending on outdoor weather factors. I'll be putting up more monkey bars, filling the veg area with seedlings and cordon off the sprouting area with shower curtains and humidify that area to about 60%. That area is in an intentionally designed 'dead' air corner of the room where the humidity should stay fairly well inside so as to minimally impact the flower area...

Right now the room is working well! Phew! I did a lot of planning over a looooooooooooooooooooooong time for this but you never know until you plug all the shit in and let go for a while...

Success!

Thanks Marga :) I've had this all rattling around in my head for a while... nice to put it in action... I believe that I'll be able to reproduce this should I move... with improvements... lol

Thank you again for your kind words and encouragement. I do so enjoy sharing this adventure!

Tally ho!

Nice vid! I really like your grow room bro it's real clean. Bet u gotta wear some shades when ur in there!

Thanks Jayar... Of course I couldn't have imagined this had I not been a member here... A year of research and looking at great ideas put in to action along with those that didn't work so well has led me to this!

LOL I keep taking the shades off... I have to get a pair of reading sunglasses... I've a real nice tan too! LOL...

I guess I'm fairly well ready to do some serious work now that I've settled on my style, equipment and space... As always I will continuously improve my process but this is where we start...

I plan on harvesting weekly through the winter and growing out all my stock of which I have a lot. Right now I have 16 Alien Triangles slated for potting up today... I'd like to get 16 to 32 starts each week... The bulk of the room will be flowers and a small part pre-adults... I will always save space for some nice specimen grows and testers...

Right now all I'm fiddling with is re-cycling my new soil and the size of my transplant container... currently testing out 1 qt and will trial some 1.5 liter containers for young pants to live in till they show sex... If this suggested practice works well, it will save a lot of space as I try to move crops through the room and maintain a high harvest count...

Thank you all for your interest and kind words as we've worked our way to this point...

Welcome to the NEW Garden of Goodness....

Best, Rhyce Saroni ;)

Here's an interesting side note... Esso - Sour Orange Diesel Kush met the blade early and weighed in at 1 pound wet. She's hung up and drying so that Friday we can chop her up and roll it all into joints.

Mephisto's Sour Orange Diesel Kush is going to the annual Freedom Ralley on the Boston Common this weekend and I've got my elves ready to take photos so stay tuned for smoke reports from the field...

Knowing my patients, Hubbabubba, White Train and a lot of Triangle Kush will be there too... But SODK will be the protest joint of choice...

Just smoked some SODK that I clipped off after the pic was taken... The high is a strong pleasant thoughful high that will gently linger as time passes... Right up there with Deep Blue C as a super coffee shop or wake and bake weed for the armchair philosopher in you! If I were still office bound... I would do a smoke of this and return after lunch to chair a meeting, happy, relaxed and ready to go... The taste is very seductive and complex with flavors revealing themselves exactly as they're spoken... Slightly overlapping during the reveal... like this...

Puff...
...Sour
......Orange
.........Diesel (just a hint)

Maybe it's me but I'm pulling a strong mint aroma as well. I wish I'd eaten a fresh flower but it's too late now...

You can have Sour Crack... I like this better for my Sour of choice thus far... I've tried some sours from the street but it is unbelievable how much stuff tastes moldy to me... So all you quality AFN growers, know that your shit is much better than street any day!

IMHO or course...
