Damn, I was kidding when I called her a lush, but she has been one.

Ha ha! Yes she was taking about 2 cups every three hours. Now back down to one cup every two... I know there is always a time they do this... just never really took note of it... Now I'll have to pay attention to see when they start and when they stop... surely a sign of mid-life...

Here is why I am such a huge fan of Coast of Maine and why I can't wait to use the new Stonington Blend - Canna soil... This is a shot of roots leaping out of the lobster compost I top dress and now mix my soil with...View attachment 467949

Looks like leaping to me...

Well I'll be! I was just watching a video about the best bio char in the world which is made by hand in the Hawaiian Islands and they guy showed the micorrhiza mycelium or hyphae thriving in the char... then all of a sudden it hit me!

This is not canna roots jumping out of my soil... it's the micorrhiza mycelium aka hyphae which have formed a healthy mass in my soil, known as shiro...

Shiro!

@Margahooja ... so after a joint or two... and some deep thought... I've come to the conclusion that the plant is say "OK! Stop the monsoon... I'm done...!". Kind of like a plant that sits in the rain for days, loving it at first then not so much but when it starts drying out again... bam! So I'm going to aerate her again because during the water fest I'd stopped, thinking it was too much and drying her out.... but in hindsight, I should have left it in...

The Dip my Chip Bag comp contestant... She'd been drinking just shy of a gallon of liquid a day, then yesterday, it seemed that she was slowing down. Today I've confirmed it. The Dip had really slowed down on the liquid consumption. She also looks to be a solid week ahead in her life and bloom cycles

I like your research.

Do you think she is goot bound? Maybe she can't breath through the plastic bag? Do you have drainage holes at the bottom of the chip bag?

Great questions... No I don't think she's root bound but I'm not at liberty to say why... yet... I also know that she's got more than enough oxygen... and your last question was the best and in a way is the answer to the first two... YES there is ample drainage...

She's got a nice engine under her hood and has been optimized for high performance... really... I'll say more about this later... let's just say, she's a grand experiment that's seems to be working... thank the lord...

Speaking of grand experiments or leaps of faith... I can't believe that I'm not using my Auto-Flower / Organic Feeding Program anymore... I'm literally flying by the seat of my pants right now, trusting the science which I've not quite grasped yet but have observed working... astonishingly so...

This is what I am doing now...

2 x week brew 2.5 gal boogie brew

5 x week apply water/boogie brew/camg/trinity mix (4 L water-1 L boogie brew-1 tsp camg-1 tsp trinity) - 3 weeks and older
1 x week clear water
1 x week trace amounts of flower food - still experimenting but for now - 1/2 tsp Buddha Bloom - 1/4 tsp HPK / 1.5 gal water

That's it... the results thus far are astounding... for the young ones, I'm nurturing them along as usual with a combination of fish and kelp mix to soil, boogie brew mix to soil, cow wow/boogie brew/wet betty foliar feeds... after first 24 hours of birth to 21 days... The adults get ten second atomized sprays of the liquid du jour to the soil every 2 hours 22 minutes...
