Here is the last plant to be harvested which was from the old garden... An absolutely intoxicatingly stunning Alien Triangle with a decidedly Alien lean phenotype-wise...

One of the most beautiful specimens I've ever beheld... IMO

They sure like their new surroundings. Better vibes at the New Rhyceland...I am sure.

:vibes:

I love growing bunches of ganja. Often times I'll get to see the different phenotypes within a strain.

With these new Sour Grapes, I've hit upon one super funky phenotype. I'd tagged it as a potential 'culler' as it appeared to be developmentally challenged. This morning when I went in to do my daily rounds I found this!

The epilogue to this tale is a lesson...

Turns out this is a harbinger of soil ph issues... Actually this is spot on Iron Deficiency... Meaning my ph has started to rise... Denying immobile elements like iron entry to the plants circulatory system... In my case I suspect two causes... My new water sources and/or a developing anaerobic situation due to me 'pushing' the moisture availability a bit.

So... Time to do a ph adjustment, back off on water frequency and check my water ph. If I act now this will reverse...

Garden note: I've noticed the iron deficiency on three subjects. Well water is 8.0 so definitely high alkaline and a likely first place to try to remediate the issue. So I've made a bucket of 5.5 ph water and treated the three subjects. This should correct the issue.

Of course my next question is why just three? Perhaps these are my 'canaries in the coal mine'... Given that assumption, I'll try to make an adjustment to my soil recipe to account for this... Soil test time too...

I'm really thrilled with the performance of the Sour Stomper x Grape Crinkle's that I've got going. I had no idea what to expect when I threw these down but judging by size and vigor of these Sour Grapes, I've got a big bonus harvest coming along. Just when I'll be needing it most... On the heels of a 45 day 'dry' period...

Surprise!
