A great specimen thus far with all appearances of being right on target for a transplant on or before Saturday. I've been 'growing' her 3 gallon pot for bit... It smells real nice and ready for the occupant! This method (transplant at sex or 20 wecf) is used successfully with well bred auto gear these days and is most valuable when your are running large lots and need to conserve on space with the yout's... lol :p Let's see how Jackie does... I'll run another soon with no transplant and compare. I'd love to do a bunch if I like the smoke, etc.. I'm eager to see how this all goes... especially the smoke...:eyebrows:

Many humble thanks for your interest. Rhyce Saroni ;)

Garden note: It bears mentioning that Jackie got transplanted yesterday after I examined her bottom and found some beautiful root hyphae, yes hyphae just having fallen out. I carefully slipped off the pot without damaging the root system or the hyphae, plopping it in to a carefully prepared, fluffy ditch in the receiving pot... She landed in somewhat skewed but I just smoothed the top soil, gave a pat, re-moistened a little and left her alone... This morning she'd righted herself and sucked down in the pot, perfectly level, erect and trucking!

I'm trialing different pre-adult container sizes and this one flunked as the hyphae/root emerged a few days too early for my likeing. I've another pre-adult container an inch larger in dimensions I've got my hopes pinned on.

Like I was saying... I'm trying to figure out if and how I can run this stuff... Some strains are pains.. So far Jack has take to early transplant quite well... but I'm not stopping there... here are Jack 2 and Jack 3... Jack 2 is in a 1.5 liter nursery pot and will be transplanted to a larger pot just like Jack 1... Jack 3 was sown directly to a big ass 3 gallon container...

Garden note: Time to start top dressingJack #1 with bone meal and/or oyster shell flour. Both are great calcium sources with Bone Meal adding P and Oyster Shell Flour adding N... They all get epsom salts in their water from 2 weeks on... These supplements work perfectly when done properly. I'm finding that I can be pretty liberal with the bone meal and add more each week until just before harvest...
