Mephisto Genetics Rhyce Saroni grows a Toof Decay aka Nanny McPhee

:slap: But I can good on ya Rhyce. Little confused though how are you doing your sog, maintaining all of the plants to the same heigth? I'm used to the term being applied to a bunch of clones that are all basically one main cola to each clone.

Alright man! Thanks so much!

I tried to keep them all small by using small pots and holding back on water and food till they flowered (early due to the stress) all of this controlled the size so they would all squeeze in nicely but still be healthy. I knew that the sour crack would grow shorter and I knew the deep blue c would be all the same height and if not bend the top (not supercrop). Lastly is the wildcard thrown in a week later, Snaggle Twof which is a toof decay. I knew she would be very different and planned all along to bend the top to fit the SOG, not supercrop it (I didn't break it). Just a nice gentle low stress 48 hour bending... Finally because three of the sour cracks are a few inches shorter than everyone else, I put them up on raised wire racks last night...

The rest of the stuff I've done is just to expose as many flowers as possible, once they get to the right height...

Please let me know if this makes it a little clearer about how I got things to work...

Here's a good one... I was up real late last night because I lost 'control' of the SOG... I mean, with limited exception I am using 'crop' mentality, treating it all like one plant with regard to moisture and food. Well when I added moisture last night and pushed the little button on the do-hickey, it came back and said 14%. WHAT????????????? How could that be? I just watered it? So I added more moisture.... no diff... WTF? Now I'm thinking f me this thing is broken so I just soaked the lot. Then I knew it was moist! LOL Kind of like a pissed off 'moisture reset'... Well when I came down today (slept all morning) and pushed the button... it said 85%.... Phew... it's working... The it hit me! I'd Sledgehammer'd the lot a day prior... No WONDER the thing said 14%... they'd nearly drunk themselves dry after their 'root sterioids'... So YES, in my opinion my plants consistently respond to Sledgehammer'ing in a measurable way... I will now most definitely make this permanent part of my Organic Feed Program (OFP)... I'm going to experiment with a plant I'm working on now, doing 3 sledges 1 x 3 weeks...

Thanks bro, I think you covered it very well. Thought my concept of sog was faulty. Overall focus is to keep a uniform height so lighting is maximized to reach the most flower tops. Great job Rhyce, glad you are enjoying yourself.:bday1:

Hey Rhyce I know you have issues with sleeping so check out the edibles thread and find the Green Dragon thread. It is an alcoholtincture thar might do the trick for you bro.

What I like about SOG'ing is that I can cram a whole bunch of a strain or a couple and know that my total yield for that tent will be high... grams per sq ft are high with a SOG and therefore grams per watt are lower too... very effecient method... don't do this if you want a lot of weed off each plant... it won't happen...
