Rewiev for LST

Hi, I need some advice for LST! This baby lemon haze is 21 days old and we just did its first LST. Is it looking good and proper? Should the main stem more leaned to the soil or this angle is okey? And should I do LST to the marked branch or should I waiting for couple of days?

hello - looks fine with resect to the main bend, I would just cut that leaf away that in the way of the main top head. And yes, there is no reason why you should not bend down the one marked in red.

Good luck

I always worry about if I do the right thing with LST. This time I want to be confident about what I do. As it gets light, the big leaf is no more in the way of the others, so I will observe and cut if it is coming again . Thanks a lot.

One thing to note is, too much stress slows them down dramatically, a little here and there doesn’t really effect the time to chop but certainly helps with growing - it’s getting the right balance but they are stronger then we all think

Keep in mind that autos don't typically get as tall as photos, so it doesn't need to be spread out as much as you might think. That said, what you did looks exactly like what I do so I think it's good.

Hi again, there's been 15 days since our first LST and she is doing well. Now, I am waiting one more week for doing defoliating. Should I do more work on it or just let them grow in her own way?

You might get a lot of answers on this, because of different grow styles. I think you have a perfect number of colas. If you need extra height you might consider lollipopping now. It depends on how high your light is. I rarely ever get the height I expect from plants with that many colas anyway.

Yeah, I am planning lollipoping but I am waiting one more week to do it. (based on an article I read on growweedeasy) Can I do it right now? I dont know that lollipoping effetcs height. So I do lollipoping if only I want more height?

And whats your opinion about these little ones? Should I let them to grow when it comes to lollipoping?

Hard to say. It's always better for the canopy to be the same height, and anything lower is at a risk of being lower quality at harvest after receiving lower-intensity light. But if you bring the outer colas down you'll take up more floor space.

Most people would advise you to cut the lower colas that will never catch up. But I hate having an open space in the middle of the plant. I have two plants right now in the same situation (one is close to harvest). And I just left them. If photons are getting absorbed by dirt in the pot they're not being used.

I know conventional wisdom says that your other buds will be smaller. I'm not so sure, especially if they're catching photons that would be wasted. Besides, if nothing else, you can save those smaller buds for the dry times. Or convert them to hash (which is my plan).

But like I said, I've only been growing for a couple of years.

I was reading recently about some traditional landrace growers that would put buds from the top 1/2 in the 'primo' pile and the others in the 'regular' pile. That's also my plan.
