Dude its frustrating in the beginning. Getting peeps to read your journals, getting rep.....etc. Seems like you have to wait forever. I know. We all know. While you wait do what i do and read threads. Click like often. Compliment. Ask questions(like this one). Next thing you know your friends list grows, your rep somehow increases and so does your knowledge. I'm telling ya dude be careful. Knowledge is power and this place will empower you if you let it. Pay it forward in working functioning live action.

Don't sweat the small stuff bro, getting rep'ed up is like growing. Do all the right things, have some patience and you will be rewarded in the end. That first harvest you have will be awesome in two ways, you will have some smoke and people will be hitting you right and left for making it through a successful grow. As time goes on and you stick around to help people out you will get the rep, I promise.
