whats your guys opinion? I've get a few auto candy kush about a month into flower. Is it worth having my plants eat energy so make bid on the bottom of the plant branches?

That makes sense at @hotrodnyc thanks.

Another question so I've been battling deficiency issues with one of my plants so I'm trying to new feed water ideas with it. Tough to tell if it working on new leave growth bc it's such a bushy plant and so many leave are already quite yellow and brown. Would it be bad if I started removing all the ugly leaves even though there is some green left on them? It would just be easy to monitor new growth once I get all the damaged leaves off.

I'm in the middle of this exact qUestion lol. So, one of them got it & the other two I left alone.

Don't remove leaves with green or yellow, if there's colour on the leaves there's food for the plant. Wait till they've gone brown and shrivelled.

True that, but wouldn't it be beneficial on your part to remove the popcorn buds/leaves and let the upper get the nutrients that was going to the popcorn?

Yes true. I thought you were just on about dying leaves, if I see a leaf that is starting to die, I will just leave it till all nutrients are gone from it then remove.
I will occasionally do some light defoliation of fan leaves to expose more light to plant, this never seems to stress plant doing about 5-8 a day, pull stems out to let those popcorn buds get more light if possible.
A lot of people will remove the bottom two nodes as soon as they show as there isn't really much bud usually from those.
I've attached a picture of cash crop I'm growing, bottom two nodes removed, bit of LST.
