New Grower Redo of a Failed CBD Lavender and possibly a Buddha Seeds Red Dwarf

Funny you mention that Eyes Ive been on top of doing that, its funny the fan and even it growing they keep getting back on top. Hey does anyone think I should pull the light up to instigate a stretch. I am getting close to the pre-flower stretch. I going to look at what kind of penetration 3w leds produce.
.

I'm Not an LED grower ,but imo ya really dont want to do that, but depends on if shes still moving?might be too late..?.shes got a great squat structure and she'll spread out some through flower too.But if you want my honest no shit opinion? you should box cut,or even pluck(if unable to keep tucked)the few leaves( I mean a few too) that are the issue on the inside center, and the outside edges if there are any.But since some flip out when ya say that,I can't in all good honesty recommend that.Yet,I can tell you without a doubt its not for uncomfortable newer growers, yet it does remain an effective tool in the Box of tricks to get slightly better bud formation and light penetration imo.I use it every grow.

I had one I did that too a looong time ago,and it turned into a Giant forearm bud and golf balls all over it..lol. pretty cool.:Sharing One:"AFN smoke out"

Thanks for the response ok i got you. I have SCROG ready to use but i was waiting for the pre-flower stretch to do it, what do you guys think? That will definitely add to the dispersion/penetration of light.

Also quick edit: If anybody have a bath and body works near by, they have these eucalyptus/mint candles they smell pretty rank but it gets rid of "the skunk" very well. It blends well so you think its just the smell of the candle.

For future reference it's best to get the SCROG going well before flower so that you have time to train them across it. That way by the time flowering starts they're roughly where they'll stay and are opened up. That said you should get it in there, and get it spread as best you can. The longer you let it go the more woody the stem will get and it gets harder to train it under the net. Looking good though man, and I'll hang out for a bit if you don't mind :Sharing One:

Roger that, Thats tomorrows task. I watched a bunch of hygrohybrids videos(great videos, but he charges a buck to subscribe) he does the scrog when he moves the plants into the flowering room. I lack that specific scenario, so i am glad you replied thanks. And Please do stick around this is only my second grow, so im pretty much a expert <-------Not an expert

I'm pretty new too, but from everything I've seen, and what I experienced in my current grow I've learned to get them started as early as possible provided they're tall enough. I started mine a bit too late and it made life harder than it should have been for all parties involved.

Just added a SCROG, I am not in love with it. I couldn't use the one fitted perfectly to the space because I have to move the plants too often. In the DWC grow Ill just have to move the reservoir, the plant will be completely suspended. For these I used those metal planter nets you would use for tomatoes. I bent them and then used gardeners wire to create the screen.

Question....how are those screens staying up? I didn't see legs are suspension hangers.

Roark, They have the legs you can only see one them in the picture. I had to bend them they were a little wider than the 3 gallons. On a side note I just got that BT50 Ozone/Air purifier, It smells like an indoor pool in here. I have an open floor plan that's about 1,000 square feet I can smell it all the way in the farthest room away like 30 feet straight line distance away.

Is a PH of 4.5 low for a completed nutrient solution. I PH-ed the water to 7 flat, but after adding the nutes it went below 4, so I PH+ to 4.5. Any thoughts I usually just left it but in my previous grow I went Nitro deficient and couldn't recover without poisoning the plant.
