Hello all, while I will be running several strains this season in my greenhouse. Mr.B of Female Seeds and myself would like to see his genetics in my greenhouse. His SexBud and Red Purps will be topping the list.
Right now I'm working on the microbial life in my grow bags. I will be cleaning and removing weeds from inside and outside of the greenhouse. In April I will ensure the entire area around the greenhouse is sprayed with vinegar to kill all weed seedlings. I won't actually be germinating seeds until the start of the second week of May.
While I'm still waiting on some genetics to be delivered. The Corona virus is presenting a few challenges in those deliveries from two breeders I'm doing testing for. I will also be having a thread at ICMAG in the Female Seeds forum and in the Ace Seeds forum.
I will mostly be doing general updates here on this thread. While I was originally planning on a full auto flowering genetics season. I now perceive 40% of genetics to be auto and the balance containing semi auto flowering genetics. Lebanese and Highland Nepalese parental donors.
I will have an exact genetics list in the coming weeks. This will be a fully organic grow at 49 to 50 degrees North. I will be using 35 and 45 gallon grow bags. This will be the fourth year using the same soil. I do add worms, worm castings, Icelandic kelp and leonardite each season. I do remove the heaviest part of the root ball each season. The finer root hairs are left to decompose and become worm food. I start on the microbial life early so that Ph is self sustaining a neutral Ph level.
I'm using a different camera and a new notebook for this study season. I'll thank you for your patience now as I figure this out. I will be doing some cleaning tomorrow. Maybe I will try a few early pictures of the preparation work. In my opinion 85% of a growing seasons success is in the preparation. It's boring, tedious and not near as cool as bud shots. But without the investment of the preparation work. You will not have the quality harvest you desired.
I hope you will come back and check out this thread. I will try and give as much information as time allows. I only smoke once or twice a year myself. I don't sale ever! As a chronic pain sufferer and my wife is battling two kinds of cancer. Quality of life is my only goal for the people I donate to. I have slowly been acclimating genetics for outdoor/ greenhouse growers of my State. Some hybrids using Lebanese and Highland Nepalese genetics have been made.
Thank you for stopping by and reading this thread. I hope you enjoy my passion for cannabis and people. It might be a little slow for the first month but by May it should be going well.
Peace farmerlion
