It's for customers, not for the grower. It's no different from a restaurant plating food in an appealing way, or farmers growing produce that is more or less uniform and attractive looking.

Exactly! Customers are very picky and they won’t touch stuff that looks like shit. Even if it’s potent and smokes nice.

Yup. I only sell to friends and for well below market value, and I still sometimes get weird faces, even though I've never given them anything but fire. People really do eat with their eyes first.

Good point. I suppose the point to it is some fools that ask ya for a bag, they usually judge bud on looks/smell and say nah. I had northern lights, shit was amazing smoke, knock you for shit. Couple of people looked at it and said nahhh. All because it looked fluffy. Some NL strains are kinda fluffy

I saw so great looking and great smelling buds that dont get you high at all,

Same reason they spray apples with wax to make them look shiny. That's why I said anything purple. They'll come far and wide for that even it it was garbage

Friends back home in TX are happy to get anything of really good quality.

Friends here in Los Angeles, where I live now? They want the quality, the colors and the perfectly trimmed stuff.

That's really interesting, I want to go to Los Angeles!!! Amsterdam are trying to stop tourists from going into coffee shops. LA will be the new Amsterdam but on a while other level.

Man if it is legalized in those countries it would be great but I'll believe it when I see it. Also what level of legalization? Will there be dispensaries or just personal 2 plant grows that will be legal. California is legal now, everything is already in place. I'd much rather be in LA than Germany

Not a perfect fit, but it works. My best buyers don't give a shit; some are, well, special.
