Quick checklist

1 - Set timer countdown for 24h
2 - dont wash the coco
3 - prep an EC 0.5 feed without zym (A&B, root stim)
4 - pH 5.5
5 - soak coco
6 - wait 23h and 45mins
7 - plant seed directly (or hydroton/root riot plugs with rooted seedling)
8 - bow, hug the pots, thank mother nature for her gifts
9 -

I always mist multiple times daily during the first few weeks of growth until they get a good foothold. So far it's the same way. I don't know if anyone else has used this particular CANNA Coco but this stuff is very heavy and very moist right out of the bag. Much heavier than Happy Frog. Which shocked me. And IME with medium this heavy... it does not dry out in a day! or in a few hours! So we'll see how it progresses... Thanks bro!

Hey Groff! The number ONE reason I chose to spend the money on CANNA Coco was because of the fact I COULD just put the seed right in and go... just like dirt. I don't like to germinate my beans outside of the dirt as in my experience they pop up faster when you put them right in and the less you stress them the better. And you can stress a seedling by messin with it too much...

I don't own a pH meter... I don't plan on buying one. I am using this CANNA Coco essentially like Dirt. And I feel with my set up I can pull it off. I don't have to wash it because it was already prewashed before they bagged it up. What's an EC? I'm not trying to be a smart ass... I really know what it is... I know what pH/EC meters are and I know what pH is... just no clue what EC is...

I cut the top of the bag open... filled my 1 gallon grow bags to appropriate level. Prewatered (as I always do with dirt/soil less mixes). Made my little hole/plug. Sprinkled some myco. Watered the hole. Placed the seed and covered. And I've done nothing but mist the tops down to keep the topsoil moist. As the initial prewater has gone nearly 3 days without drying out. But I will carefully water them tonight. And if you're wondering with what water... My water comes out my well at 7. That's what I water with. I will start feed at day 7.

The only thing DIERENT that I had to do was normally with dirt/ soil less mixes I drop the seed in the hole on top of the myco, cover, and THEN water the plug. However, when I did this with the Moby (1st bean I planted in the coco) I noticed it floated out of the plug and to the surface when I watered it. Even watering lightly... SO I had to make a new plug, water it before putting it in, then dropping it in the plug and cover. Seemed to work nicely as the Moby is out now along with the Green Poison and S.A.G.E. & Sour. 4/8 up so far. And under 72 hours. That's pretty much the results I got doing the same thing in Promix BX. So once I start feeding with Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect nutes I'm hoping to just keep doing what I was doing. Like I said We'll See... But I like what's going on so far.

I want to make another note. In my research on Coco and again, WHY I picked CANNA Coco over other coco brands or blocks. Is because I didn't want to change anything I do. I use 1 gallon grow bags. Not Airpots. I think that gives me a better edge on retaining moisture. I use T5HOs. Which don't suck out moisture like HID. I know the conditions in my room and tent... Temperature and RH (yes I at least monitor that! ) And I for sure thank Mother Nature for blessing us with this amazing plant that we can do SO MUCH POSITIVE with!!


Now I have pictures but I can't upload them for some odd reason... keeps giving me a red !. I tried 3 different times... I'm gonna reboot my lappy and see if that fixes the bug. If not I'll upload thru AFN. Stand by!

EC/TDS meter to tell how much nutes are in your mix .I think Muddy said up to 500parts per million ppm. in full bloom.Rain water starts out low like mine is like 7ppm and i add cal/mag+ to get it to 125 then add my nutes.My tap is like 70 ppm

havent seen this strain grow from seed to finish - but then again i havent seen alot of strain grow from seed to finish

im sure silver haze and sad will be out of the ground soon enough

Must have bro!! I truly hope so as I LOVE s.a.d... well we BOTH love s.a.d... and I'm so stoked for the SSH it's crazy! I have bad luck growing S.a.D. 1st time out I bought 1 fem in a pick n mix order... it showed up unviable. This is my 2nd attempt. It will probably pop last just to make me anxious!
