Hey Reb, for those of us unfamiliar, what's the big difference between the soilless coco mixes (that you've been using, right?), and 'coco'...? Waira I was bummed to find out I'm fresh out of Magnum. When I can afford to I'll be buying more of that and Auto Cheese Candy. That stuff just makes you feel stupid LOL Thanks for the heads up on the strains! Blue Dream I had a half a pound of at one point... when my Father died back in January... I don't think there is a better strain under the sun than Blue Dream for that kind of stress in your life. That strain helped me through the most difficult point in my life. So I want to grow it and watch it from start to finish!
Yes, Buckeye Smash is my own creation. My first attempt at "making my 'own' strain". I use " because it's not something I personally 'created'. As opposed to taking a 2 strains I love and crossing them and seeing the results. Also after looking at their respective family trees. I didn't go blindly into it so to speak but of course I'm not breeder! LOL But so far they are at F2 and results have been f*cking exciting to say the least! Truu has a thread growing one that is just a MONSTER but he helped her along, eventhough they are big in their own right.... Mr. NS has 2 Females in his outdoor grow currently and he had the very FIRST Auto show up in a Male that was culled. So the Autos are there! We just have to hunt them! And I'm taking my time with it as well as I'm looking to do things correctly and not just sling pollen around.
I took a Landrace Afghan Kush Photoperiod Mother (regular seed) and pollinated her with a very stout and vigorously growing Auto Assassin Male (regular seed). I have recently gotten a new laptop so I have to break out my external HD to get some juicy pictures of them growing in there natural habitat. LMAO! But I'm going to be making a Buckeye Smash Home thread either tonight or in a few days... depends on time...
I have never used Coco as a medim in any way. The soil-less medium I used was Promix BX. This CANNA Coco I have now to use should do the trick just fine! It's just ground up Coco Coir. I'll be adding Myco Madness to the mix but that's about it. We'll see how it goes.

I just missed your prev. post by minutes while posting mine.... What is with the bat-shit crazy weather in that part of the country lately?! don't you normally get this kind of in Spring?... Some intense weather can be fascinating, unless you're wearing it like a damn hat! I lived in Florida for a few years, and the only good thing about that climate was the incredible lightening, every day nearly... sometimes genuinely disturbing!

Thanks Waira! We made it out unscathed!! Some random tree limbs down and part of the driveway washed out which sucks but could be worse! So tonight we are happy Rebels! About to slap some steaks on the grill and enjoy this dry 74 degree weather this evening! Technically bro it's still Spring. Not summer til the 20th but, the Sun has been active and so has the Gov't... So lord knows where this crazy shit is coming from! I'm just thankful a Dorito never formed!! Just torrential rain, ridiculous wind and lightning so of course thunder too. But flooding isn't too bad in my area... few counties over not the same story... so we were fortunate again. Dodged a few bullets this year so far...

Lee (kannabia); these are the undisputed stars of my grow! Tolerant, tough, vigorous, and frosting up beautifully!... Of course, I'll pass on my critique of everything as they become ready for proper 'testing'!.... I still can't find who's holding that Pineapple Thai, which as you know, is brilliant! I'll keep poking, maybe even call the delivery collective I got it from to see if they remember... That BD is a great mood 'leveler', huh...

Ah, Kannabia! I'll put that on the list... as Kannabia Hobbit is another one of our Top Favorite Autos! And a big yielder to boot! Nice mulit cola strain. Blue Dream has a special place in my heart. For more than one reasons. When it comes to that and Future 86... Very special to me. So I'm super stoked to have it in the Coco! (can't say dirt now... LMAO!) LOL thank you my friend! Assassin was a staple in my grow room for over a year. I miss it. I would like to grow more and I have a shit ton of it just not enough space! Assassin will always be a favorite of mine and I will always keep some in my personal stock. Yes, the main goal is to work it Auto. Right now I am pleased with the Early Photo F2s so I will be carefully working it Auto from here. As I want to make it a stable auto (same pheno every time out) and that will take a great amount of work and generations. But, all that has come from F1 and F2 get better and better so it makes the "un-rushed" seem that much sweeter!
No that thread will be a "Home Thread" for the Buckeyes... I hope that all who have grown, are growing, and will grow her out will post there so we can all pow wow on her and compare notes. Oh yes... Ren & Stimpy is an old favorite as Beavis & Butthead. My favorite R & S is the one where they are both firemen... And the big ol' lady is throwing shit out the highrise window... "HELP! SAVE MY HORSE! HELP! SAVE MY BABY!" etc... I still quote the horse to this day... "No sir, I didn't like it!"

Soooo... here's where we are at... Again, as most of you that follow my shennanigans have come to know "strains are subject to change at any moment, for any reason, as management sees fit" This is my first go at Coco so I wasn't sure how much I could get out of a 50L bag... I'm bad with math and forget about Liter to Gallon Conversion. :no: So here's what's in the Coco officially!
Autos... Dinafem Moby Dick, Sweet Seeds S.A.D., Sweet Seeds Cheese, & Sweet Seeds Green Poison (man, I just realized this is a Sweet Auto run!)
Photos... Greenhouse Seeds Super Silver Haze, Humboldt Seeds Blue Dream, BC Bud Depot's Girl Scout Cookies, & TH Seeds S.A.G.E. n Sour.
Now the SAGE n Sour I threw in the mix because I got down to the last 2 Buckeye Smash Regular Seeds and I only had enough Coco left for 1 more gallon SO instead of having one regular BES bean in there all by it's lonesome I decided to toss another fem bean and after a quick huddle with the Wife we decided on the SAGE n Sour! We are gonna order another 50L bag of CANNA Coco this weekend and when it arrives I may toss in the 2 Buckeyes and just veg them until the Autos are done. We'll see how it goes!
I have only 1 tent going at the moment. I still have some electric breaker box rewiring to do so cutting down on voltage use as I will have it completed by tomorrow or Sunday... then they will be put in their respective tents to live! I cannot begin to express my excitement for this run! For many reasons really... Strain Selection, First Coco Run ever, new tent, and I get to run photos with my autos as that is my absolute favorite thing to do when growing! Best of both worlds and it makes both seem shorter (length of time to finish). And the room has been 200% Sanitized (I did it twice!) and sprayed down with a Peppermint Oil solution to keep outside pests from creeping in. Man does it feel G R E A T to be up and running again!!! 
I tell you, growing is much more addicting than smoking!! :smoke:

Man do you have to be REAL careful when watering this stuff!! Especially before the roots take hold! I presoaked it but still have to be real easy when watering or the medium moves around too much. So far I haven't had to water/mist anymore than I did with dirt! This coco retains water real well. At least in my set up. I'm sure when they start eating things will change... so far so good and I'm happy!!
