MegaCrop as base nutes appears to work well, without deficiencies or excesses, over a rather wide range of concentrations. I used 1.5 g/L (5.67 g/gallon) from mid-veg to harvest in my last grow, with no problems and very high quality product with the same about average yield (overall, as good as one can ask for). Many people get good, if not exemplary results, using much lower concentrations.
If you look at the GreenLeaf Nutrients' Web site, the recommended concentration for early bloom now starts at 5 g/gallon and is 6 g/gallon for the later part of bloom. This is apparently a recent change, with dosages increased. In the context of the then-current recommendations and many reports on AFN using lower doses, I considered my use of 5.67 g/gallon only a matter of weeks ago to be rather high. Now, my use of 4 g/gallon (and even 5.67 g/gallon) is significantly below recommendations!
Has anyone on AFN yet reported about use of MC at ≥6 g/gallon? Where did support/documentation for this change come from? Should we now consider GreenLeaf Nutr. recommendations to be upper limits, something to keep below as with most nute companies, or is this the desired/best amount (with going above that some likely OK if you want to push the plants)?
