Rebel's Mega Crop / Greenleaf Nutrients CannaZone Test Thread

Awesome journal here @Rebel !

Learned a lot, from you and everyone else, Don Skelly, Waira, Dudeski, Trail and co.
Love the way you all talk back and forth, and share your knowledge and skills.
AFN rules like that. We're really a community helping each other, not competing, boasting.

Wanted to reply and comment on a bunch of posts, but... too much, haha!

Since I'm doing mainly 2L and 1L pots (like, 0.6 gal and 0.3 gal), am learning from you smaller 1 gal grow style.

You've got a lot of plants in those tents. I like a nice SoG from seed!!!

Greetings Maria!! How ya been my sister of the green? Thank you so much!!

You know.. back in 2011 when we were just getting the forum started nearly every thread was like that. And eventho most of us from back then have become staff or admin since then and don't get around as much as we'd love to, we still love to talk shop when we can! With this MegaCrop deal a lot of us are taking this journey together! Not saying that AFN isnt still that place! Quite the contrary... But it is rare to have this certain group discussing all this stuff because we all rarely get to do that anymore... So I'm tickled that you're getting help from this thread! Me personally, I haven't felt like my threads have helped anyone in a long while! :pass:

Ive been the resident 1 gallon grower for the last 7 years lol so it's awesome to see another small pot grower. Do you grow this style for a certain reason? I ask because I usually get laughed or dead silence when I talk about growing in 1 gallons lol so I'm curious to know what's your reason?

Oh totally... I'm also known for this too lol having "too many" plants and not enough light but I'm setting out to run this whole 5x5 with 3 panels. 23 Autos... However 11 of them are regular so the crop will thin out when the males get culled.

IAM feeding 20 grams of MC and 1/2 tea spoon a good half teaspoon of Sweet Candy and 30 Mills of pro Cal to 15 liters of water. A couple of plants need tweeking. But on a whole IAM very happy with the growth.

:d5: sweet ass! I need to get over to your place too...

Awesome. That's so cool.

Right now I've got 8 plants in 7 pots --
5 autos in 4 X 2L pots, and 3 photos in 3 X 1L pots.
All that in about 2.5 sq ft, about 1/4 m2.
And just less than 3' high, a simple shelf.
Light is a little cheap 100 W COB,
and just added a chunky 75W warm CFL yesterday.

Started 20 yrs ago with a 400W HID, added a 150W later.
Then lately got into outdoors, guerilla in the jungle.
And got into autos (didn't have these back in the day...)
Now back in the city, in very ganja unfriendly zone.
So trying small scale micro grow.

The 8 plants in 2.5 sqft is a nice from seed SoG.
Canopy starting to fill over now.
Just aiming for maybe 1/4 to 1/2 oz per plant.
Will already be a good 2+ oz, nearly 1 oz / sqft.
If all goes well.....

Now, don't why people would laugh at it.
Sure, everyone loves a 20' 5 lb monster.
But the way some people do micro grows,
the yield by area and wattage is very impressive.

And can do a bunch of strains in small space.
I have 15:1 CBD strains, 1:1 to 1:1.5 CBDs, and full THC strains.

So far it looks like I got it under control. I just had a good look at them under natural light and they are all nice green. Not too dark... The right dark green. That faded N look hasn't progressed...

I'll keep on doing what I'm doing and gradually add higher doses and some PK boost.

Now @912GreenSkell remind me again.. when should I cut the base nutes down when I add the PK or is that just in the few weeks before water only?

Personally i would add additional PK around day 35 and work stronger into day 40-55

Maybe that's my problem... I never really push my plants. I mean I've gotten the claw many times and I always thought that would hurt my yields but maybe my thinking is ass backwards lol

Their BB always hermied on me... GBOG was the only successful auto I've grown of theirs. AU was huge and so was Mazar but I wasn't really impressed with the smoke... I'm an odd ball that's for sure!! :pass:

The problem i see...if you are pushing nitrogen to get the claw, then the nutrients are being forced to the wrong place for flower, and that is pushing too much leaf. I get super fat buds in my tiny space....because I push the right nutes at the right time, and because I have an intensive root base for the frame size of the plant.

My outdoor plants are a prime example....years ago i did not use any bottled nutes....4 wheelbarrow of horse manure and a cup of lime, and that was it....i would get huge plants, but all of the flower was always covered in lots of leaf, and density often left quite a bit to be desired. Then i decreased the amount of horse manure to 2 wheelbarrows...that i found overall to be the right amount to get the plants through veg and into early preflower, which was the perfect time to stat pumping them with proper flower nutrients(and LOTS due to frame sizes!)
Yields went from good, to great.

The BB is a finicky plant for sure....the photo does well in a good environment, but damn she is certainly finicky...Ive had mine hermy twice...and both time severe stalk splits from high wind and rain cased too much stress and they hermied. BB's do not take stress well. I always cringe a bit, when i see a newbie taking the BB. Its an incredible plant capable of huge things(still holds my 2 best yields), but she is sensitive and unforgiving. I make mistakes on pretty much everyone I grow(usually feed and overwatering).

That's killer!! I gotta go catch up with your thread! Definitely sounds doable! Your yield goals.. I bet you'll get bigger yields than anticipated! The weather here in West Virginia is so unstable... I wouldn't dare grow outside lol

:d5: with the autos? Or both?

I don't really look to push them to claw. Tbh I just pay attention to vertical growth. I watch to make sure they aren't over fed but I really don't have any goals during veg... Only to give Veg nutes until vertical growth stops. Then switch to bloom. I'm really going to start doing the PK boost at day 35 as you suggest as there's always a ton of room for improvement. Especially with your help!

I've always thought that the way BB was bred... With Temple Flo known to Hermie and no effort to really breed it out.... Just compounds the issue with BB being so "unforgiving"... Just goes to show you how much breeding truly palys a part in the future generations of a strain... 20 plus years now it's still a bitch to grow

Don't forget about me!! 1.5 gallon containers here! ;)

That's right! Well you're the resident MASTER small pot grower! I'm just the resident

That's with your indoor autos right?

Hello 912 quick question my fellow stoner. Have you given massive yet? and if so what is your amount of mega crop you are running and are you maxing out with massive? Are you using anything else?Thank you.
