Fast and abundant after a slow start. (Typical AutoFlower growth explosion at three weeks.) Tall main cola with many side branches. Smells strongly of Skunk. A hardy plant that doesn’t mind temperature fluctuations or low humidity. She did complain about an unexpected defoliation and Neem Oil treatment at the beginning of flowering, but after a few days, quickly resumed flower production and slight upward growth.
BAG APPEAL: ***
While far from wispy, the orange/green buds are not “rock hard” and are covered in glistening trichomes. Nice to look at, but nothing amazing, except for the fact that Weed Buds are amazing.
THE SMELL: *****
AFTER 8 WEEK CURE: Upon opening the jar, you’re assaulted with a strong Skunk smell. Upon further inhalation, the fruity, over-ripe peaches (or apricots?) smell comes through with a hint of Anis or Black Liquorice.
This is a smell that tickles the brain and makes your head spin. Nirvana must smell like this.
THE SMOKE: *****
AFTER 8 WEEK CURE: Smooth and sour. The tangy sour taste spreads over the tongue and activates the saliva glands as soon as the smoke leaves the bowl and enters the mouth. While in the lungs a smoky sweetness is added to the sour. The exhale leaves the skin tingling and an overwhelmingly wonderful taste of hash in the mouth, with sour returning not long after.
*The smell and taste of this bud is an absolute highlight. Actually, 6 Stars for both would be in order.
THE HIGH: *****
A creeper. Immediate tingling of the skin and a change in perception- mainly hearing. After ten minutes you’re feeling wrapped in warm cotton and wondering where the last ten minutes went. A soft, warm and comforting peace has set in and with no effort, the body is forgotten, allowing thoughts to wander.
Not Safe For Work.
Keep fluids handy; cotton-mouth is part of the program. Something to munch on is always good, but the Rapid Afghan doesn’t try to keep you glued to the Goodie’s Cabinet.
Alleviates aches and pains, aggression or stress (specifically Spinal Disc Herniation, Nerve pain, ADHD)
Higher doses are rewarded with a fully spaced out, psychedelic, couch lock and total pain relief. (I’d like to stress the psychedelic part- tracers, music drops and all.)
In Closing:
I want to grow this again. The smell and taste of these buds and the high are very good reasons to have this one on long term, jarred storage. The rapid, non-complicated and abundant growth makes this possible. A fantastic Smoke that will let you just mellow out and enjoy the task at hand, or help you enjoy a wonderful time-out on a considerably changed frequency.
