Quick question on when to pollinate?

well i am legend the 2000+ seeds girl was pollinated in pre flowering stage round day 14 so i dontwant to now how many she gave me pollinated later. still got a good 500-600 beans from her after 4-5 yrs and they are still popping good.
That's crazy I guess I'll find out how many I get I'm sure my fan blew it all around. That's if the pollen is still good it's been in the freezer for two months. Atleast you have seeds for life lol

Hey want to see something cool I did for fun a few years ago... This was smoke though. Wanted to see how small I could get an auto. I think I harvested it at day 65 but it has been so many years I forget.

Hard to get it that small with out killing it. Look at the purple in it. I don't remember how old it was in this pic. The trichomes were about 25% amber when I finally picked it. It made me and the wife paranoid as all hell. Smoked it on our wedding night. I had not smoked for years before this. I think it was the last time I smoked too.

That's crazy probably like a bowl of smoke lol. I'll see how my solo cup grow turns out she's probably going to die from being root bound lol

O no it probably wont die unless it dries out or it has a nute deficiency that kills it but that can be avoided with nutes. Only problem I had was I had to water 2 times a day once I got close to harvest. I have never lost a plant just to root bound.

seeds coming along?
Yes sir on the branch I pollinated all of the seeds are ready. They've been ready for about a week or more actually I've just been waiting untill I chop her down tomorrow. It really didn't take the 6 weeks everyone said it would. It only took about 3-4 weeks. That may be because I only pollinated a single branch. If I pollinated the whole plant it might have taken longer. But I got about five seeds already so far off of the solo cup plant and that one only took 2-3 weeks to make seeds. She was harvested at day 37 or somewhere around there and I didn't pollinate untill about day 16 or 20 of her life. I can't wait to see how that cross goes. The solo cup was a red poison pollinated by SODK x Alien OG. I should get quite a few off of my big girl even though I only did a small branch.

Did u use cs to reverse? Did that little solo cup grow produce much smell? Seems like an interesting way to make some seeds in the off season indoors, if its not too obvious. Ive got a sunny window I keep some other houseplants in through the winter...

I did use cs I bought the store bought bottled cs off of amazon for about $12.00 I did that way ahead of time on its own and then stored the pollen in the freezer that way I had it on hand. I used the pollen I already had on the solo cup grow. The solo cup grow did not produce any noticeable smell but the strain already smells like candy and not really a skunky strain. Also my solo cup girl only got about 6 inches tall lol but some people get them like 2 feet tall so I imagine they'd still be stinky. The reversed one didn't smell at all though so worse case scenario you could always do a reversal in a one gallon pot or a solo cup and then save that pollen for your outdoor girls.

I just pollinated a photo plant late in bloom like day 45 so after harvest I will be able to tell you if early or late has much difference in seed production. My opinion might not be completely accurate though after this grow as it is a photo and seed production is tied to size of plant which varies with every grow. This plant is similar in size to others I have seeded in the past though and usually I get about 250 seeds from plants this size so if I get say 1,000 seeds this time than I will be pretty confident that late pollinating late produces more seeds. I will let you know when I harvest them.
