New Grower Question regarding AN PH Perfect

What size pot do you have.... I can tell ya at 9 days I was watering .5 L every other day. And I use a small stone.and I'm sure they will be able to handle that feed. Def watch over water when there young it can really stunt them later. You shouldn't be too bad though the airpot and pro mix dry pretty quickly.

Did you have a chance to check out the last journal I did? If you dig through the beginning a bit and find when they sprout I documented almost daily with pics as well starting then

I checked out the journal and gave it a like last night, did find some pretty useful info in there.

I'm using 3 Gal Smart Pots (Fabric), not the plastic air pots. My first watering after planting was day 5 (250 ml), on day 6 they were bone dry again so I gave them 500 ml. Yesterday (day 8) they got 500 ml, and today about 750 ml. Keep in mind I have really good air circulation and the pots are slightly elevated so they dry really fast. They were super light, but the soil was somewhat moist about 2-3" down.... My RH drops to around 39-40% when the pots are totally dry, and temps will go up a few degrees to around 82F. After watering my RH will go up to 50-51% and temps drop down to 79F and will stay there for a day or so until the soil starts drying out. Today my RH was 38% and temps 84F, and the pots were feeling pretty light so I watered again. I'm sure this isn't the most accurate way to judge when to water, but it has been a common trend with every watering so far. I'm confident the moisture I felt toward the top was the last of it (or close enough), but I'll try to let them completely dry next time.

From my understanding .25L (250ml) for every gallon of soil is a good rule of thumb.

And from the looks of it, they're already starting to perk back up.

Good deal bro.... just start training your muscle memory and picking up those pots. Pick them up a few times a day and in a few weeks when they take off you can make it less of a routine thing you can just pick them up once a day and you can tell if they need it or if they don't how long it will be before they do. Do you have a journal going I would like to follow along if so

I'm sure you have your question about the pH perfect nute's figured out by now, but just to throw my 2 cents in I use pH down to adjust to 6.0 and have had no ill effects. I use AN pH Perfect Coco Grow and Bloom, Voodoo Juice, Calimagic, and Dyna Grow Protekt. You should check out Jayar's thread for his last grow as well since he does not adjust his pH with tap that is 8.0. His Sour Crack grow turned out amazing. I just adjust because I have a pH pen and didn't like the idea of knowing my pH wasn't in the "optimal" range.

The PH of my feed was 6.0-6.2 early on, but now at 1/2 str of sensi bloom it's down to 5.8. When I flushed (about 5 days ago), flush water was around 7.8 and runoff was 7.0 which would put my medium around 6.2. I'm not too concerned, have seen grows with pro mix hp cc being treated like hydro and fed at 5.8. From what I was reading PH Perfect stuff is supposed to be chelated so that it's available in a wide PH range anyway.

My ladies do seem to be having some issues, but I think it's due to a cal+mag def.

I'm growing in CocoTek, so I have to supplement calmag bc of that. Pro mix is a soilless media, that has beneficial bacteria correct? So I think that since its soilless you'd need to supplement calmag so you're probably right on that point. When I test my runoff it's always around 6.1-6.2, so I don't get much of a fluctuation, but I'm running 100% coco... :pass:

You're also correct on the AN nute's being available in a wider range of ph. I just adjusted because I felt like it was a safe bet to do so, plus I'm running Protekt which is a silica supplement that raises ph levels as well. I've been using ph down from the start though before I had Protekt or Calimagic. I'd just get yourself some calmag and you'll be straight.

Yeah Pro Mix is soiless with myco, but this mix has about 30% coco in it along with peat and perlite. I'm using Tang's Feeding Schedule, and he doesn't start calmag until around day 30 (after flushing and switching to bloom nutes, the stuff he uses is also stronger I think), but my tap water is only around 100 PPM and I don't believe the mix he uses has any coco in it (which binds cal+mag). Been giving the girls slightly stronger than 1/2 strength for the past week (1.2 ml/L), probably going to work up to full over the next few days. From now on thinking I'll start cal/mag 7-10 days before flushing to avoid deficiencies.

I'm guessing it would make sense for the smallest lady to not show signs of deficiencies (she's only 19" the others are 25-28"), and she looks the healthiest. Her bud sites are really starting to plump up compared to the other 3, and trichs are starting to form on most of her sugar leaves. She's also mostly maintained her dark green pigment and has 0 spotting. The three larger ladies are all showing lighter pigment between veins (pretty bad spotting through the middle/upper growth on only the largest), their bud sites aren't as developed, and trichs almost non existent.

This is also what's leading me to believe that it's a nutrient deficiency issue in the larger plants, rather than a PH issue. They've all received the same treatment, and the smallest girl looks as healthy as can be.
