Indoor question on hps

i am just completeing a first inside grow .i wasnt really happy with the yeald.mostly lr#2s.in soil under a 150 hps and 8 23 watt cfls .i intend to get another 150 or 250 watt light.trying to keep everything lowtec--low power bill etc.would i do better with 1 400 watt in a 2x4 area or 2 150 watts kits.heat is not a problem .i understand that yeald has alot to do with the light you have and the strain you grow.trying to keep small as possible but i really want to grow some ball busting couch potato lock weed just once .lr s are ok i guess but not really strong considering it stuck to my fingers like glue.the high is ok for maybe 1 hour. but no stone

What's up man. If your wanting to grow numerous plants and fill up your grow space I would advise you to get 2 lights. If your wanting to grow one big ass plant under the light then get a 400w. I personally am going to stick to 1 huge plant. If you average things out 1 400w with one plant will probably yield the same as a bunch under 2 150w.

It sounds to me like you need a different strain. There's lots of better strains out there that will knock you off your ass. Ask or search around. I recommend diavolo by delicious seeds, quite the stone it will give you.

Hey little t....I would go with the 400. I run two of them and have run a 100 hps also to compare and I think the buds are way bigger with the 400. Good luck with what ever you choose.

It really all depends on how you set it up... one big light up high, or 2 smaller lights down close. Its all comes down to light footprint vs. penetration... 2 smaller lights running inline in cooltubes right on the plants will still give you dense nugs. Whatever you get, cool tube it, and drop it right down on the girls.
