Question about trichomes

So I have my fist "flowering" plants thank to Auto and feminized seeds. One is a Critical Purple from GCS the other is a Berry Ryder from New420guy. The critical started flowering around 9/6 and the berry around 9/17. I think I planted the critical around August 10th but seemed to have a little bit of a slow growth to start and the berry was planted about 2 weeks later. (next time I'm going to write dates down). I've attached some pics, but my question is the critical still looks like clear trichomes where as the berry is possibly cloudy with some purple ones. How long from when they start to turn cloudy till they turn amber? I know every one is different, but is it a week plus or is it more like a few days?

You need a magnifier x60 at least.
Purple thrichs come with purple strains... you will learn how to differentiate between those and ambers with time son

Yes I have a jewelers loupe as that is how I was looking at them and I know the purple tris are with the purple strains, but my pic on the right with the purple tris seems to have some cloudy ones and the pic on the left they still are clear. I was just wondering how long after they turn cloudy till they start to amber.

Make sure that you check trichomes on a bud piece. Not leaves or edge trichomes.
