Wassup AFN, thought u could help me out a bit with this one..Im thinking of ordering me some air pots... :toke:

Heres the website im going to order them from....http://www.roguehydro.com/superoots-air-pots/

It says the- "3 Gallon equivalent" holds only "2.2 gallons of soil"...

-"5 gallon equivalent" holds only "3.6 gallons of soil"

can somebody please explain how a pot that holds 2.2 gallons is equal to a 3 gallon? how do they figure this?

right now i have regular 5 gallon plastic pots..i want to purchase some 3 gallon air pots so i can have a little more space..but im confused if i should get the..

3 gallon equivalent that only hold 2.2 gallons of soil

or the 5 gallon equivalent that actually holds 3.6 gallons of soil..

since im using 5 gallon plastic pots right now, im kinda apprehensive of getting an air pot that only holds 2.2 gallons..but id like to know how that equals to a 3 gallon?

i just want to make sure im getting whats best so any help would be appreciated, thanks guys :peace:

I would be willing to bet the 2.2 gal air pot would grow a bigger plant than a 3 gal plastic. Plants I grow in air pots always turn out larger then plants I grow in plastic :2cents:

IMO good familiar genetics has a lot to do with it as well. :smokebuds:
