great question! our oil is derived from what is legally known as hemp in the US. It is a high CBD strain that falls below the legal limit of THC (0.3% on any part of the plant). So in essence, there is not much difference in the starting raw material. Although, ours needs to be cut early otherwise too much THC is formed. What is the difference other than the obvious thc level between your oil and me growing a high CBD strain and making a tincture with it?

Our extract is done by supercritical CO2 (high pressure and heat). It is further winterized by ethanol to separate the wax out and then the ethanol is removed. Our carrier oil is MCT or Medium Chain Triglycerides (usually composed of C6/C8/C10). These are fast acting fats that help deliver the extract in a form your body can readily absorb.
