Lighting QB96 Elite V2 Engine

Thank you very much mate!!! at blooming phasee i will do your adjustment for sure, but in veg i want half power of this light to stretch more my plant, in HLG told me if i will cut down IO adj, all the way down, i will have the half power from driver thats would be 100w. what you think about it?

That is correct.

here's a good video on the A type drivers, starts at 16'20"

How are you guys wiring the HLG-320-54A to 2 QB96 Elite boards? Parallel or Series? Shall I assume the sticky part of the thermal pad goes against the Heat sink? It appears only 1 side of the plasitic comes off. Kinda lame they don't add hangers with the kit, I will go to the hardware store and buys something to use and a new extension Cord. I have solid Black and Red wire to plug into the boards. But will use the extension Cord to plug in the wall and to make the long run. I will keep my ballast outside of the tent. Thanks for the advice, peace slowandeasy

If you have dark grey thermal pads the plastic DOES come off both sides!!

Don’t install it w that plastic on... it will fuck up your heat transfer

I know for a fact there should be no plastic bro bro

I got both plastic layers off. The one side was deceiving, and was difficult to peel off . I hooked up cords to each QB96 Elite kit, and will hang them up tomorrow. I have to run the items to the ballast and they will be good to go . I have the male end of the power supply hooked up. Will run the +/- wires tomorrow to have it hooked up and make an extension cord out of the 3way female end of the cord and plug each QB96 into the extension cord. I have the ballast turned up all of the way, but I probably should turn it halfway for the first couple of days? I don't want to shock any plants. I am going to putiting them in the 4x4 with some Sour Cracks, Super Orange Haze and Hubbabubba Haze. I don't want to risk doing anything to my bigger Sativa girls by changing the lights. These plants are much shorter and already under a red spectrum with the old California Lightworks Bloom light. I will remove the California Lightworks light and keep 2 Cobs to put in 2 corners. I planning having my lights arranged so the Cobs are hanging diagonally from each other and the QB96 are hanging diagonally from each other. Cob,QB,Cob,QB. Should be bright and crank out some good nugs?!
