A sous vide cooker will keep it there, doesn't use a lot of energy. I use a chicken brooder, have one laying around. That on top of a towel gets the package right where I want it, I can add more insulation wrapped around the package for less heat if I need. You may get creative and find something that works for you.Yeah I've looked into the native leaf co, they look very cool but I'm not really in on having to sign up for a waiting list to get them. Plus they are fairly expensive, granted I understand with how much work goes into it. I'd really love to know how they do it.
I've heard of a similar process that you described with the fermenting but for about a month. Not sure how I would keep something at that temperature for that long, sounds expensive. Might trying water curing to see if that will do it.
Native Leaf has dropped their waiting list, at least they had last time I checked (mid July). I agree, definitely pricey, but I think it's good to have a baseline to know what you're aiming for. Now that I've tried I'll only break em out for parties, but I only use an alcohol tincture, I almost never smoke any more.
Let me know how water curing goes for you!
