Excellent review! I have gastro issues as well--Mayo Clinic gastro docs think I have Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome (CVS)--which I have my doubts about since I don't fit the classic symptoms of it--and they also think that smoking weed makes the symptoms worse....but they conveniently ignore that I quit smoking weed entirely from 2003 until 2011 yet was still suffering from the lower left abdominal pain (and occasional nausea/vomiting) to the point of over 20 visits to the local ER from fall 2007 to fall 2008. Anyway....thanks again for your review--I just ordered seeds of of it and can hardly wait for their arrival!

Thanks! I forgot to include the duration of the buzz: about 90 mins. I expect the duration to go to 2 hours as the buds continue to cure. :smokebuds:

Have you actually noticed things besides taste/smell changing with a good cure? Such as potency/effect/duration?
It seems like curing is very under-reasearched (in a field of already under-researched stuff).

Thanks for the reps and I'm glad that my smoke report and grow journal are helpful to others.

Purple Kush has helped my stomach issues alot. Nausea? Been there too. This strain has helped to ease my nausea, especially as the buds cured. As the buds continue to cure, the smell of the cured buds has become a much stronger berry smell. The strain also helps a lot with insomnia. It's become my go-to nighty night strain for when I can't sleep. Just a few hits knocks me out every time.

i can't agree more about the importance of a good cure. Yes, the potency has definitely increased as the buds have cured as have the uses for this strain. I discovered that this strain is also great for helping to lessen the harshness of the common head cold. I cure my buds in a cvault with boveda paks.

I love this strain, I can't recommend it enough! :tiphat:
