Blueberry Muffins photoperiod
Temps 18-22c. RH 45-55%
5 gal pots organic peat moss mix. PH = 6.5-6.7
Biobizz nutrients. PHed at 6.5
Mars Hydro FC 8000 - Hanging height = 60-80cm and 60-75% intensity.
I raised the hight and lowered intensity a bit after i noticed it as thought might be light burn.
Watered every 2-3 days.
No light leaks.

Light DLI = 15-24 DLI. Seems really low to me according to photone app so idu how can be light burn??

There are no signs of bananas or male plants anywhere. 9 plants in total. Ive checked them all.

Crank those lights up. You can not burn plants with LEDs unless they actually touch them (well if they put out over 2200 PPFD maybe at closer than 6 inches)

Thanks!

I really thought the pistils going orange and on some other plants turning purple was light stress but it cant be. It is a sealed room, and if i forget to sit inside or exercise in the morning to get CO2 up to 1000+, then maybe it falls quite low some days. Otherwise, it might be the cold temps causing this and lack of fluctuation between day and night temps. its basically 18-22c always, just cycling 24/7. On the equator and its just weird to manage here so can be 18c at lights on too if thats makes.

I just jacked the light so all are getting 25-32 DLI so thats about 650-800 PPFD now. Will jack it up more next week, or lower the light as 75cm away is clearly a lot compared to what you are saying and the Mars guide tbh.

Your plants will survive on 32 DLI, they will thrive on 42 DLI and I push mine to 60 DLI. Any more than that is mostly a waste because of diminishing returns. With the really high electric rates nowadays 42 DLI may be a good compromise.

Just so you know pistils will turn amber for a variety of reasons mostly being touched. Those are the reproductive organs of the plant so if they get damaged they turn brown

Right, i assumed damage and immediately thought light stress but seems was running way under as scared of this 805w LED light.. I dont man handle the buds in any way.

Except for cold temps i dont know what happened...

It doesn't take much

Most of that is from me squeezing my buds lol

Thats where I havent touched

just a reminder - values may differ from meter to meter if not calibrated. Uncalibrated Photone app gives me way lower values than ppfdmeter on my device with my lamps. So if you are in doubt and use photone, perhaps you are pressing too hard if you already are near the top values you read from your device.
If you don't calibrate, theres still some guessing.
