I love the growth shape of the FIMed one. Excited to see how they finish. My Siberian Rudys are doing pretty well, but getting beat up by thunderstorms atm
I was quite nervous about the whole fimming thing because apparently it could have stunted the growth but the timing was good! How where you able to find pure rudys? It's not a cake walk usually ^_^ About that storm , no worries they can take a beating lol

Who knows how "pure" they are, I bought the Russian Auto CBD from NativCanna. My guess is that it's some random Siberian wild seed. Not a whole lot of info out there on it.

I have noticed what seems like a couple of phenos, with 2 plants showing more typical Indica growth pattern and structure, and two showing more sativa like qualities.

3 fems are about a week into flower now with foxtail type buds starting to form.

well, Ive read they were some rudys coupled with "wild industrial hemp" and most likely with a Ak47 at some point with other seed banks. A real nightmare in terms of trying to understand what are they really selling you. I am not surprised one bit abput the fact that they would never sell pure rudys for a price like that. The real ones are up to 2.5% thc and between 6-10 % cbd naturally, depending if you keep the roots warm or not. If you breed them with a wild industrial hemp you might not see the difference but you will always be in the range around that 0.2% - 0.3 % thc recommended by the law ,making them shippeable outside any countries because through certification, they can show to the autorities that this ruderalis strain everyone is looking for , was diluted into a wild industrial hemp variety and they hit a 0.26 % thc now being classified as hemp with the law but selling it as a pure rudy on the net. Dishonest.

Is there a reason to search out "pure" ruderalis? My understanding is that it is mutant hemp and the only thing it has to offer is a few genes that breeders have already worked into many better strains.

yes exactly but to me, it was the key to New Breeds land. I'll breed something nice Im actually working on it . Some breeders are looking for that pure strain to flush the genetic of other heavily modified strains (ex. Black Babushka) also preservation is an other good reason to go for a pure landrace ^_^

Pure rudys are under 30 inches tall.
Flower in roughly 70 days from germination.
I love reading all the BS people write about and sound like experts.
So I'm not the type to tute my horn on anything.
Just watching the BS on recommendations.
If it matters in terms of credibilty.
I have 7 strains, many of which are now 4th generation reseeds.
Working with rudys should only be done if you plan on keeping some of these strains pure for the future.
Otherwise, keep it simple and get yourself some ruderalis indicas from sensi seeds to accelerate your hybrid project.
Your hybrids will only be as good as knowing the parent and grandparent strain.

I'm working with it for certification purpose and also for strain developpement . I am planning to select relatively good phenotypes answering well to fimming. I like how it performs with so much little. Today at around 5 weeks and a half they are between 22 cm and 26 cm ^_^ . I used to do outdoor ,10 years ago with White Lemon . 12 000 holes that summer

Pending the source of the seeds.
It is common to get roughly 6 to 8 phenos of these plants. And to make matters worst, males and females demonstrate different growing characteristics during growth.
So fimming, and expecting could be a longer project than expected..
But a very noble project if you know whats going on and have the patience.
