Photoperiod Prophs 2018 Reg Run/Pheno Hunt Thread

Starting my first reg run of the year, so I figured I might as well document it. I'm popping a total of 9 seeds. 3 above ground. 2 are still in soil and 4 more are soaking. 3 different breeders. 3 different strains.

3x Top Dawg Seeds - Dubble Bubble (Sour Dubble x Bubblegum Chem)

3x Ghost Genetics - Future Trunks (Majiin Buu x Noahs Arch(Animal Cookies x Jesus Og from In House Genetics)

3x Warped Genetics(IG growmie) - Unamed Strain Plushberry(TGA) × TropicanaCPT (OniSeeds)

I'm hoping to find 3 females and at least 1 male to grow out. It doesn't matter of which strain because they are all top knotch strains and Id be happy with either. Veg time will depend on m/f ratio. I want to keep the total that I will flower out, to 4 or under.

If I get 4 plants, I'll grow them out in 1 or 2 gal pots of coco, in a 2x2 tent, for kind of a sea of green affect.

I'm also using plant dna testing to sex the seedlings again. All 9 will be tested at 10 days above soil, and I'll know the results by day 14 or so. That way I can plan weeks ahead.

If I find something I like, I will consider crossing it with my GMO cut.

I fill up my tent and the Zenseed strains I grow are 21 day old and start to sprout in the next days. I am also not a competition guy , I like the show. I read the comp starts in February so I am a bit early.

ps great to see people make there own seeds.

What a difference 3 weeks make.. Lets see.. Where do I start.. I decided to do this is 2 parts.. 4-5 plants each time. So this first time I germed 4 seeds.. 2 Plushberryxtrop and 2 dubble bubble. They were sex tested at 12 days above soil.. 3 males.. 1 female. The one female was a dubble bubble. I decided to keep a male of the same strain and cull the rest.. So I have 2 plants out of 4 seeds. 1 male.. 1 female.

6 more seedlings are above ground.

2 more Plushberryxtrop
2 future trunks og
and 2 3kingsxOranage cookies...

They will be tested within the next two weeks.

I also have my GMO cut that is vegging.. She has a ways to go, so she may be ready at about the same time as the others. Pics tomorrow. I have to remember to update this thread. Hahaa

The six new seedlings.. In the back
2 Future Trunks.. In the middle 2 Plushberryxtrop.. And in the front 2 3kingsxOrange cookies. They've all been clipped and labeled, and I'm sending the samples off in the morning for testing.

All I do is cut a piece of the cotyledon from each plant.

Do plan to make some fem seeds from the elite cut? Would be great to safe them in seed form. I do the same with the jaggen cut years ago.

All plants looking great can't wait to see some nice buds and male flowers.

Wow.. Totally forgot about this thread. So instead of doing a complete update, I'll give you the short verson. I had a horrible male to female ratio.. Almost all males. So I decided to chop all males and focus on the few females I had.. So I kept 1 TopDawg Dubble Bubble and 1 Plushberry x tropicana, along with the gmo clone. I flowered the double bubble and gmo first. The are at the start of week 5 of flower. The Plushberryxtrop was just put in 12/12 this week. I also have a gmo cut that I reversed and is also in flower. Lets go with that for now. I had to stop my personal hunt because I received testers from two different breeders that I had to run asap. So I will add those to the update next time.
