Producing single special seeds

Hello, I'd like to know if anyone has any info on fabled single seeds. So obviously if you get seeds in your buds your plant was a hermie, or made bananas or hermied due to stress etc. and the seeds are likely to be hermies too and not worth growing. But I read somewhere that sometimes a whole plant can not hermie or get stressed but still produce just one or two seeds that tend to grow into amazing plants and that some very special strains got their starts this way. Can't find the original article, but aside from naming a couple of those strains, there was no further info. Does anyone have any info on this? Are these seeds really more likely to be special in some way?

I have one of these seeds, haha, so I'm super curious. I grew a Purple Maroc (a reg photo) that was lovely and I was surprised to find it produced a single, massive seed. I have more Purple Maroc seeds I bought fresh and this single seed is about 50% bigger than those and looks like an absolute demon. I'll definitely be giving it a go but it's going to be a long wait so if anyone else has heard any stories or has experience of this..?

There is no way a seed can form without pollen present.. if you're 100% sure you didnt carry pollen in yourself then there must have been some balls or nanners in there somewhere

Yeah no I know it made a nanner to make the seed - but without having been stressed or becoming a hermie, and only making one or two seeds is what I read somewhere some people used to start strains that went on to be popular. I wish I could find that article.
