Problem: Day 22 from seed, started to brown a little just a couple of days ago. Started on 2 leaves from the same node, now progressing. Any ideas what's wrong? I have another in the same soil that's doing fine. Out of 6 plants, this is the only one having problems.

Medium/grow method: 3 gallon fabric pot, FFOF, using a DIY octopot type setup

Feed: and supplements used: No feed or supplements used at this time

water source: Either water filtered through our burkey filter, or tap water that has been sitting 24+ hours

Strain/age: Atlas Seeds - Froot by the Foot, 22 days from seed

light used: It's almost directly under a HLG QB96 (one of two on that side of the 4x4, each on their own HLG-185 driver), dimmed to about 35-40%,

Climate: Currently maintaining around 84-86F and 78-83% humidity, circulating fan, currently no exhaust fan (being delivered soon)

Additional info: This little one had a rough start, had a curly Q root that dug itself out of the soil in the very beginning. I was able to gently get it covered and growing downward. Then my lights were raised a little too high and she stretched a bit, hence the ring and extra soil. I have one other plant, Mephisto Double Grape, in FFOF and it's doing great. My other four are in living soil, I just didn't make enough for all my pots
Any thoughts or advice are appreciated!

FFOF is just a little too hot for some strains when they are babies, I think that one must be a real light feeder. She will recover I would imagine, but will probably be kinda small with the early stress. I don’t think there is anything to do but keep watering and wait it out. I think adding anything has a good chance of making it worse, plain water and fingers crossed.

good luck!

Yeah I’ve had issues in the past with FFOF being too hot for seedlings. I start my seeds in a depression with coco coir and let them grow into the FFOF. I thought I was in the clear, thought maybe it just got a hot spot and browned a couple leaves. But it’s been progressing, so not in the clear. I’ll just keep on keeping on with fingers crossed. Thanks!
