Hi guys this is my first post on here after lurking for a little while. I am currently growing 2x easy ryder in a small closet using CFL lighting. I use a timer and have been running an 18/6 light cycle with the dark period being Midnight-6am.
I have one seedling that is 4 days old and 1 which is a day old and seem to be very pleased with their home however there was a powercut from around 7pm last night through to 3pm today, so the plants have been in darkness for around 20 hours:cry:
the power has come back on and everything is up and running again. i have changed the timer so the new 'day' starts at 3pm, with 'night' occuring between 9am and 3pm. I thought this would atleast mean the plants get a full 18 hours as opposed to being exposed to another irregularity.
I'm curious to know you guys opinion on this as the collective knowledge on this website is amazing. do you think its worth continuing with these seedlings or should I start from scratch? I dont feel like watching these beauties die slowly if thats what may happen. I know it's only been a few days but I'm already quite attached to them.
Thanks guys
Stumpy
