New Grower pot size for short strains

Not sure what to do you have all made good points and give me a lot to think about I am new to growing and like to keep things basic to suit my basic set up

I understand the points being made and how transplanting if done correctly and at the right time will expand the root system and increase yields witch is basically the same as planting autos into big pots and using root nutes to help them fill put the pots which in turn will increase size and yield

thanks for the detailed replys my question has been well and truly answered I will stick to a 3 gallon minimum size pot for my grow but I am also gonna use a 5.7 litre pot for one dark devil just as an experiment see what I can pull off her

The tent I am using now is 4x1.5x1.5ft my other tent is 1.2x0.6x1.5m why do you ask ?
