20150713_185722.jpg Hi I have two plant great white shark and royal Haze. They have been flower for two weeks now. On a 18/6 light cycle. Both have been doing okay I think they have been slow in growth but overall okay. But recently the leaves have been droopfor 4-5 hours before lights go out. Then looking good And healthy next morning. In addition both of them have reddish purple stem on several branches I read that this was phosphorus deficiency I have been feeding them every other watering.I just watered them yesterday with kind bloom the ph has been between 5.7 6.3 threw out life. My grow room area is 3 square feet I'm running 6 23 watt CFl 2 42 watt CFLs and 2 55 watt CFL that are 2700k as well as 2 23 watt cfl 6500. In addition I have 2 23 watt cfl places at bottom of grow room. I have adequate air circulation going in and out a oscillating fan as well as a fan blowing on top of the lights. Temp at a steady 79 my problem I believe is they are growing in a one gallon pot I did this because I was unsure of how tall they were going to be was trying to control their height I believe it was a mistake and now they are root bound could this possibly be the reason why their leaves are drooping and they are showing slow bud growth. I'm concerned that with them being root bound they are not getting the oxygen the need. Today is the worst I have seen them. The haze is the worst all leaves drooping not sure if they are not going to make it. I know you shouldn't transplant but should I transplant them or am I being over cautious what should I do but I do believe that they are having trouble in such small pots are root bound and suffocating because of lack of oxygen please any insight would be greatly appreciated

A photo showing the lower part of the plant would help ... from the parts that are visible it looks like they are healthy ... a 1 gal pot can be hard to grow in ... constant need for water and too many chances to make mistakes w/o enough soil for a cushion ... next grow cut it down to one plant in a 3 gal pot and make your life easier ...

Hi auto. What kind of soil/mix are you using? How often are you watering? What kind of pots? Enough drainage in them?
I've seen a lot of great grows in just one gallon pots! Hell, you ought to see the plants they grew in beer cans! I'm thinking that perhaps they are not getting enough water. Just my .02. Let us know your soil.

As far as purple stems......I freaked on my first grow as they all purpled. On my current grow, 2 of my girls have purple stems and they're fine. It could be a deficiency but it could also be a pheno of that particular plant.

Soil is fox farm ocean I have been testing my soil every week only once on haze did it have a problem its ph was low. 40 percent perlite 60 soil. I did make mistake I bought miracle grow perlite not realizing had fertilizer. So I washed it several time over a 3 day span before mix with soil. Plastic Cheap pots I had already. One was squared other circled. I did read about growing in small containers even came across ppl growing on a shot glass. Yet last night I did transplant no one responded so I went ahead yes I've heard its not good but I figured hey I'm learning and learning come with mistakes. Both went into a 2gal. Fabric pot I got at local garden store. Great white I had no no major issues transplanting although haze I did have some trouble because of its height I wasn't too sure if it was going to make it till morning. Both we're bound extremely bad especially great white shark. Ther pots were damp mildly it may of been that they needed water. Yet last night I thought it would of been to soon and would of hurt them. After transplanting I watered them both good with reverse osmosis purified water pH level 6.0 NOTE I HAVE BEEN USING reverse osmosis purified water the entire Grow. I did not give them any nutes. I did give them seaweed kelp to help with shock. Today they look to be doing fine for the most part I don't know what to look for in shock but overall their leaves are perky they are standing straight up they look strong they are green no sign of any major problems on leaves or any were eles. so hopefully it will all turn out wel. I do believe I'm being overly cautions. But its the learn experience I'm after right now. Yes a harvest first timegrow would be great but not really what I'm focused on at this point. if any other tips ideas I would greatly appreciate

I've never transplanted but hopefully all it would do is slow them down a little bit. Have you considered starting a journal? I'd like to check in every so often to see how they come out. Especially after the transplant.
It sounds like you've got it under control. Good Luck with them and keep us posted.
