Hey guys and girls, beavis back again with another issue that has me losing sleep at night. I have had what seems to be Powdery mildew pop up. I have not seen it spread, like hardly at all yet, so I thought I would get a professional opinion on the matter.

Problem: possible Powdery nildew

Medium/grow method: soil (foxffarms of/HF/Perlite mix)

Feed: and supplements used: FF trio, AN Cal mag Xtra fed every 4 days. Has been fed 2 times total so far.

water source: distilled water

Strain/age: Sams OG/18 days from sprout

light used: HLG 260W V2 QB

Climate: temps from 21°c-27°c that's about the range it sees in a day.

Additional info: here is a picture of what I am curious about

Also would like to ask if it will be too detrimental to my plants' health to switch back to a 24/0 lighting schedule to help me combat this wpm? I switched to a 19/5 schedule like a week ago, and that is basically when the little wpm scare all started. (Stupidly watered right before lights out one day and had nute water sitting between leaves all dark cycle.)

Thinking about just going to the local agriculture store and picking up some immunox or something similar. Maybe they will have some sm-90 there .

@Waira hope it's okay to tag you here. I have done some searching and I saw that you were offering advice in this type of tragedy.

Just tried a home remedy of some peroxide/water. Instead of going through with spraying everything, I sprayed down a paper towel and tried to wipe the leaf in question clean. Nothing would budge at all. Those little white spots are staying right where they are.

Someone on Reddit said it could be trichs? I don't see how it's possible for an older bottom dwelling fan leaf to develop trichs before the sites where pistils are showing.

Edit: sorry for all of the frantic posts but if this is some form of fungus or pest I need it gone asap lol and I am completely lost right now. I guess we will wait a little longer and see what develops.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The underside of the leaves looks good? Makes me have flashbacks to my mite problem but I'm paranoid about this things and think that everything is a mite....

Yeah everything is good no other signs of mites. Starting to think it could be either a deficiency or a ph fluctuation. Just fed and watered again today so we will see .

doesnt look like pm..do the spots wipe off somewhat...? if not, its critters. 90% sure.most likely mites.

My first thought looking at your pictures was early mite damage. It’s difficult to be certain looking at your pictures.

It doesnt look like PM to me. Do you have fans moving air in the tent? Do you have fresh air coming into the tent? Nonetheless air cannot be stagnant or you will get PM if the conditions are right.
You wont see mites with the naked eye. Use a 80x scope ad scan that leaf and underneath before ruling out insects.

Beavis, get a decent magnification lens on there, 10x at least, and look at them.... they indeed could be globular or sessile trichomes,.. not bug damage,or anything nutritional,... doesn't look like WPM, that more "powdery" is appearance......
