Possible calcium magnesium problem? Leaf tips curling

although i am not familiar with that particular nutrient line, i can say that the nutes i use in my hydro claim no need for added CaMg. i have found to the contrary. i use botanicare CaMg throughout my entire grow. and muddy is correct on rez temps...ideal is 68F, for optimum growth. when they approach 78F, the plants start to stress.

I don't see where you have a need right now for additional cal/mag. I'm not a hydro guy but I think if you just lower your ppm a little you should be okay. You might wait till someone else confirms that first.

What is your EC of your feed solution? I'd just cut that back a bit and see how things progress.

unfortunatley my hanna growcheck meter went tits up on the second day of my grow thankfully I have a back up ph meter but don't have a ec meter the closest hydrostore is 4.5 hours away from me and I haven't been able to pick up a new one. I am currently following the directions on the bottle and I am feeding 4ml per 1 liter. I brought it up to that level slowly over the last 5 weeks. I started off at 1ml per liter and then every time I did a water change increased by 1ml until I topped out at 4ml. So basicaly I have been flying blind.

I guess I will add 10 liters of straight ph'd water to the res and see if this has any effect on the curling prob?

I have someone bringing me a meter in two weeks but that dosen't realy help me out now. Thanks for the info everyone knowledge is power!
