Not an item I'd really considered until the opportunity to test the Dabpress Rosin Plates was offered to me. I was intrigued and said sure!

I received these over a month ago. The packing material was brown paper. Items survived shipping with no damage! United Parcel Smashers are slipping up............

First impression: Well built parts, looks to have top notch quality! Now that I've seen this setup, I've been itching to test it! The wait has been maddening!

The plate system is composed of very beefy metal parts. Just looking at them give confidence that parts failure is a very remote possibilty, I wouldn't want to see what it would take to break these, I bet they'd take 50 tons of pressure! Yes, the plates impressed me and yo all know how uncommon that is...
The control box looks well made and sturdy also. I'm looking forward to powering it up.

I've got some bud to spare from my last harvest, and a boatload of popcorn that i saved. Going to give these plates a workout!

So you have to still buy the press that goes with it?? Seems to me if you sell a dab press it should be exactly that.

They do make a complete Pneumatic Rosin Press With Dual Heating Plates and then they also sell plates/caged plates that you can use to build your own. Going the DIY route sometimes is cheaper and you can build it to your needs.

@pop22 do u have any photos of the plates rugged on a press. How easy to mate these to a press. @Dabpress.

Well............. finally. The first pic will tell you why its taken so long to do this test. I've been waiting for a day when no one was home next door. This thing is too big for indoorsa and my shed if full of stuff. I guess today though is a perfect day.

Some pics while the plates are warming up.

OK! First pressings! Looka like I got some practice to do lol, but I guess not bad for a first attempt. Set temp to 205F

Now my problem is I never considered needing something to store it in........ I scraped it off the paper and then scraped the tool off onto a single edge razor blade and stored it in a small container. Got to order some silcone dab dishes.

Strain is Sugar auto
