Has anyone pollinated their auto girls with non auto pollen with success and what's the best way to pollinate without destroying whole tent harvest.

I have not crossed an auto and a photo (yet) but when I pollinate I isolate the receiving female, I use a Q-tip and I dip it in the pollen then I just lightly touch the pistols on the bud or buds I want to pollinate. I leave the female in isolation until the next day so the pollen can set in and start working then with a spray bottle set to mist, I lightly mist the bud I pollinated and heavily mist the rest of the plant, soil and flower pot so if there is any stray pollen on leaves soil or flower pot the water will destroy it. after the misting I put her back in the grow area with the other ladies. So far I have not accidentally pollinated any ladies in the grow area.

Pretty much what he said. I keep my males or flipped fems in a space bucket awy from main grow. I bring the lucky lady out of the cabinet and pollinate her with a little makeup brush. I'll let her sit for 2-4 hours them I mist her and put her back. I repeat each girl about 2-3 days later.

I now have thousands of autoflower seeds squirreled away.

As for auto + photo just remember that the F1s may not show the autoflowering trait. You might need to wait until F2 or BX back into the auto to get some autos. Then it's a matter of stabilizing the traits you want. Making reliable autos with the pheno you want can take a while.

I have done some mixing of autos and non autos back in the days. You need to do several generations to stabilize autoflowering. Basically F1 wont give you autos, except maybe just maybe one out of many. F2 will have around 25% autos. At this point you only select autos for new generations. You can also backcross with other autoflowers to get more stabile AF faster. At F4 almost all should autoflower even if not crossed back to other more stable autoflowers. F2 should give about half AF. If i were to use other more stable autoflower, i would rather use it on autoflowering F2, rather than non autoflowering F1 seeds. No science to back up with is better, just a hunch :)
